There are some odd things happening on the site atm, so it's probably not just youI appear to have made no posts in the last 4 days, according to my Post Search
:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Thanks PP - it must be my age but I'm feeling cold even thinking of her without a coat on! Definitely one of the arguements I'll let go!
Right, I'm going to have a quick ten minute fill a carrier bag with carp! See if that will make a difference anywhere xx0 -
Dusty - hope all is well in Dustyland xx
Msgnomey - stay healthy vibes xx
Mumto5 - hope you're feeling better this morning xx
PP - enjoy your weekend! xx
It's chilly here. I'm seriously starting to think about putting the heating on for an hour but will decide after I've walked the dog (elderly dog not stripes!). I'm hoping for a quick visit to matalan this morning and then I'm taking my parents dog to the vet for them (in my new - to me - car, boo hoo!).
When all that is done I will attempt to do some work from the lists! My bedroom is the room that requires most work. I actually have a floorobe and I never have one of those!!!
Quick question - why is my daughter (aged 11) so insistent on not wearing a coat to school? She has a 20 minute walk to the station and then another 10 minute walk at the other end. I've made her take a waterproof and an umbrella in her bag but she'll only use the brolly. 'Mum, NO-ONE wears a coat nowadays!' - think I'll let this arguement go and see if she feels the same when it gets really cold!
Have a productive day whatever you do! xx
Our secondary schoolhas a very clear policy that coats are NOT worn in the building (risk of hidden knives) so most pupils don't wear them! Has been the same for years and my youngest is nearly 17!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Penelope_Penguin wrote: »Because she's 11 :T My DS is in Y11 and has never once worn a coat to high school. My friend's son is 23 and he didn't either, so this is not a new phenomenon
I got round the situation this morning, by making him take a pac-a-mac. At least then it humours me that he has got something with him aqnd if he gets drenched then it's his fault for not putting it on.0 -
Good morning all, hope you are all well xx
