not done much flying today as OH has a very high temp and is really unwell, I am trying hard to nurse him from a distance as I do not want his germs!!!! What with him and all of the children who keep coughing all over me at school if I don't go down with the lurgy before I get into hospital on Friday I'll be amazed!!!

I have managed to sort out a few bank problems and wmx2 tdx2 as well, off to bed soon didn't sleep at all last night too wound up!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
  • Please count me in again. I used to do the jobs religiously but over the summer i've had to have a cleaner as work has been sooooo busy. Needless to say i've got really lazy now so need to get back into the swing of things.

No real Flying achieved today. Set alarm clock for 7am as had to leave the house at 8.45 to get the train to Cheltenham to DD3's but .....disaster ....switched off the alarm and woke up at 8.30! Had a quick swab of my own hot spots(!), grabbed a glass of milk with my tablets, and out of the door! (Well, I did get dressed as well!) Made the train too! But, was supposed to call in to DD4 to pick up her sister's birthday present!!!! (She'll post it!)

Had a nice day - we went for coffee at the art gallery, then had a bit of a wander round, then had lunch in a nice little cafe, after which we went back to DD's house and had a look at her birthday presents. (I of course apologised for lack of anything from DD4!) DD3's DH bought her a table easel, which will encourage her to paint more, and as we talked about it, she asked me if she could have some of her DF's brushes etc (my DH used to paint really well, but due to the dementia isn't able to do it at all now - obviously we did help him to do it all the time he could). She said she'd appreciate those much more than new ones. I thought that was a really good idea.

So, when I got home late afternoon I climbed up into the attic and had a sort through his things - not only did I find some brushes, but it meant I did quite a bit of decluttering of the attic, and have filled a couple of black sacks!

It made me late with cooking my meal, but I threw together a few things that needed using up, and really enjoyed it (hunger is the best sauce, as my mother used to say!)

toottifrootti - thank you so much for your lovely thoughtful words yesterday - brought tears to my eyes! (And you're right of course - I'll take your advice.)

I've done all of the three levels except for linen cupboard as i haven't one. Ive also washed bedroom net curtain and rehung it,washed window frame-yucky!! and the window, though within 15 minutes that had cat snot on it again!! Bed is remade and my bedroom looks like a grown ups rather than the teenagers that its looked like for at least 6 months-who am I kidding there was stuff on the piles on the dressing table from before christmas-hopefully last years. I hope it never gets like that again!!!
All the stuff for DD removed from hiding places behind clothes and taken to my mums to be hidden there. Sorted through some clothes and everything now in its proper place.
Thanks for the link to Memory girl's thread PP, I've read the first 5 pages and am loving it but must get to bed (in my lovely spotless bedroom-hehe!!)or I'll be sleeping instead of flying tomorrow.

piggers oh no not more bad news - sorry to hear about your uncle's friend. Are you feeding that wean enough?:rotfl: only joking! And yes going to bed at an earlier regular time for a few weeks might help you!

Oh it is all good fun in my family!

My sister has been at docs today with some kind of back spasms.. it looks like her back muscles have hiccups.. but they are all twitching at different times so it is like she has tourettes.. being related to me and my mother she was not going to hospital lol

That wean is a fatty lumpus! She has been a right grot again ronight, think we may be a bit colicky tbh.. she was refusing to feed or stop screaming.. but she is snuggled up asleep now.. hopefully for at least a good chnk of the night.

OH and I are having food then I am going to bed.. he can stay up all night if he wishes!

    My never ending list :p

Toots was just having a good old moan earlier as I cant rant about it to my friends as it feels like im bragging because im lucky enough to be in the very fortunate position where if needed tomorrow the loans could be gone but oh *needs* the security of having x in the bank at all times hence why they are not yet gone. and i just want to stamp my feet and throw a tantrum cause life isnt going the way i want it to and im ranting on like a spoiled brat when there are so many more important things going on in the world and with other peoples lives. I had a shower shortly after my 2nd post of this morning and forced myself into the car and attended my course. It was a case of needs must. Fortunately it finished 30 mins early. I could feel myself deteriorating as I drove back home. DH rang on the way telling me he was going to watch DS2 play football and I told him I was feeling terrible. I had to repeat myself 3 times before he got the picture:mad:

I got home and went straight to bed. He brought the little ones home and went off to DS2's football. Thank heavens for disney DVD's as I couldn't get out of bed.

I've crawled downstairs to make a cup of tea and the kitchen looks like a bomb has gone off. I'm not happy. DH is away tomorrow night and is leaving at 6.30am. I need a miraculous overnight recovery to happen..... then I'll clean the kitchen in the morning no doubt spreading my germs around the place.

    :oSorry for the rant:o
