Hi, I have done zilch flying today but I have had my final free business start up session, acquired loads of free furniture for my holiday let, actually got the plumber to call and stay. :D

On a negative DH broke off his car key in the ignition, the only one he has:(
We had the the car booked in for a new key later this week as DH broke the other one a while ago.

toots I am very impressed by your ebay sales! I have sold one item this week. Must try harder!

penpen Weekend? Rice and roasted veg bake sounds scrummy. We ran out of gas for the range but have an electric oven so may give it a try. I am running out of easy/cheap meals to cook with no hob/grill.

vanilla Hugs for you all. You seem like you need them right now. You have a lot going on.

I am a tad short on spoons but have been invited to go out for lunch tomorrow so I am going to do no flying in the morning. My friend is treating me so I am taking her up on her offer. DD and I have first to look at some more furniture that someone is giving away.

    Tomorrows list;
    Phone breakdown company
Order a chrome trap for basin
    Look at furniture at 10am

    Find quotes for insurance

    Evening all

I had the best intentions when I got in - honest! Started tea straight away, gave DS2 a couple of small tidying jobs (e.g. find 10 dinosaurs to put in the dino box) and set timer for 15 minutes in the kitchen. MIL phoned and then DH came back downstairs and was ready for his tea after all. By the time everyone had been fed and I sat down with a cuppa it was after 8pm. Since then I've mooched around on MSE, reading a few pages of memory girl's thread and a the last couple of pages on here.

Will start marking some books now, but what I'd love to do is think about a few of MG's ideas and how I could apply them to myself to get rid of debts/mortgage and accumulate a bolster of savings. DS2 could be off to uni in a couple of years and I'd need it. I could scream when I think of the money I've wasted over the years. I'm also thinking dangerous thoughts. If I drew up a list of reasons to stay with/not to stay with DH, what would the outcome be? I could do with a 'lady of independent means' to take him off my hands.

Don't know what's up with me tonight. Sorry for going on about stuff and never getting anywhere. Hugs, commiserations and congratulations as needed.

    Night all. xxx
  • I'm still here! Please don't take me off the list :o

Sorry I haven't really been contributing anything - I've had a real "meh" week or two. My capacity for "flying" fluctuates wildly, days when I'm cleaning and sorting top to bottom, and ones when I can barely get myself dressed.

Here's hoping I catch another upswing soon, and I'll be back on board (geddit? :D:o )

Hope everything is well with all you lovely ladies/gents xx

    Hello All

Well, I also achieved nothing from today's flying list but I did manage to strike a lot off my 'Others' list today and had a lovely afternoon with my mum. Got to choose some goodies for my birthday on Sunday so Yankee Candle tarts and a nice 'Granny Knows Best' Book have been selected. I am anticipating a post birthday evening with a book and a scented room :D

Also got two nice ham hocks from Mr M today - I am super impressed with their meat, not a store i normally go to. Although I will be going back after seeing their fab butcher and veggies.

Anyway below will be added onto tomorrow so hopefully I should get back on track
