Because she's 11 :T My DS is in Y11 and has never once worn a coat to high school. My friend's son is 23 and he didn't either, so this is not a new phenomenon ;)

One of mine will, he hates to be cold and put a rain coat (football training one) on today. The other simply puts a hoody on and lets that get wet so he is dry underneath;) 8 year old refuses coats already. They also can't leave them in cloakrooms like I used to at secondary school because they'd just get nicked so they have to carry them around from class to class all day and with your PE kit and bag of books it's too much for a lot of them to remember or be bothered with.

Still raining here. Put some stuff in the loft and got the fender down which I'm hoping to part exchange for a fire screen.

Then off for a bit of shopping, not in the mood but it is for birthday presents for the weekend so no choice.

    Hi :)
    Thanx PP :)
Mudbath - my 12 year old is exactly the same and sometimes my 16 year old is too!
Dustykitten - I think the fact they have nowhere to put their coats and have to carry around with them as well as their pe etc is the biggest problem - I know for a fact my 12yr old always moans that he's not taking his coat because he can't fit his pe and all in his bag too!

Well had my breakfast and chill time so need to get on now - have college tonight and I am becoming a hermit and not wanting to go out of the house - this is so not like me at all! I have to go back to work next week for serious fear of withdrawing into myself to be honest :( I will be fine though - hate feeling like this, used to be such a bubbly happy character. Sorry started whinging a bit then x

    Ok - list:-

    Dishes
    Clear breakfast bar
    Iron clothes
    WM on
    Clothes on line or TD
    Clear table
    Tidy living room
    Hoover living room
    Polish living room
    Clean bathroom
Cook spag bol for darling family :)

College work - Rough copy of reflective log
Library - print off template for reflective log
Write out reflective log for marking
    Final Mind map

Shower, wash hair, dress and do hair and make up to make me feel nice :)

Town - Buy files and walk to college

    Home - WM on
    TD on
    Iron clothes
    Relax :)

    Hmm better get cracking!

    Jen x

Everything happens for a reason :)
