  • In my HHC I've washed up, washed the hob and the panstand things-took ages as they were very greasy and am in the middle of tackling a coffee stain on the front room floor-milky coffee spilt a few days ago which I thought I'd got in time but is now a smelly brown stain so I've been scrubbing with a spot cleaner. Intend to do the windows when I've got this done but I think its going to take several applications!!

    Hi wilf55
Sorry to hear about your cut of finances :( Just a couple of suggestions - don't know if it helps and stuff you probably already know x
Firstly phone all your bill companies and explain your situation - they may be able to help. Also phone Citizens Advice Bureau x And lastly - check out up your income thread on here :)
Don't know if that is of any help and also there are lots of lovely peeps on here to support you x
    Good luck hunny x

    Hi,

I've just had a letter through the door saying our refuse collections are going to be fortnightly now. The recycling will still be collected weekly. I don't really mind there's never usually that much rubbish anyway so it should be ok. They've given me some bags for the food waste caddy so i'm going to start using that again instead of a bowl. I was fed up of cleaning it out all the time so with the bags it shouldn't need too much cleaning.

    In my HHC i

    Dealt with post
    Td for 10 mins
    Unloaded dw
    Loaded dw
    Cleared drainer
    Cleaned food waste caddy

Tooch i'll join you a bit late for your HHC.

Christmas stuff now moving closer to the attic. I decided to check the lights before the box goes up and found i had no plug so bit of a search but found it. Phew

Halloween box all sorted and i think i'll keep it in the hotpress, easier to get at.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
