having spent the last few days muching through a box of matchmakers i am thinking that a few of these in a bag would also make a good gift. Snowman Hands, or Christmas Logs? What about putting a few in with some white marshmallows and chocolate drops and call it a make your own snowman kit? Actually the more i think about it i love this idea.
would have a go myself today but i have eaten them all0 -

Fab idea little Lil
These days pretty much any die will work in any machine, the opening of the bigshot is 1/2" wider but either should take all dies, i have written up some photo tutorials on which dies need which plates so if you want any help pm me (or ask my PA :T)
i can reccomend country view - susan is lovely and dispatch is fast!
If you want to use the XL dies (mainly bags and boxes) you will need extended plates for the relevent machine0 -
hollie, these were cut on the cricut to give you an idea of the layering you can do0

Scarf could be liquorice laces or marshmallows string. I feel a trip to the sweet shop coming on. Ohhhh what about a hat made out of half a flying saucer sweet that would be fab! I really need to have a go at this0 -

Could you cut something like that on the cuttlebug too? I'm seriously warming to the cuttlebug and am going to see if I can sneak one in without my husband noticing... much as I love the sizzix too the cuttle is just a better size for me!But I want to be able to make boxes! WAAAAAAH
