BitsyBeans - I love your card - stunning in its simpleness - can I ask where you got the stamp from as it is just my style.

    Ebay :D I love it.

thankyou Lisa for all the info,i dont like anything that i can't get to grips with straight away it would end up through the window :D will take a look at the cricut,so far im swaying towards that or the cuttlebug.i keep my stuff in a storage trolley under the stairs and all my other bits, ribbon, scissors etc in the shoe boxes that came with it so wouldn't really have lots of room for a large machine.i need a second house to store everything :)

I don't have a lot of room in my house either to store all my craft stuff understairs cupboard is full of DS's toys :( But my bigshot tends to live on top of my fridge and I have a box with all the dies in which the big shot sits on top of when not being used, I prefer the big shot as you are not limited to useing just the sissex die's with it you can use the nestabilities and cuttlebug ones so you do get a whole wide rang of choice. You can also cut material with it which I do like the idea of.

  • a manual machine like the big shot or cuttlebug is better for fabric
The dies that cut fabfric best are the sizzix original and bigz dies
have a look through some of the sections here
    Sizzlits will not cut fabric

I got my Cuttlebug for £31 in the US - had a 50% off voucher which I used in a craft shop there to get it for that though. Was really pleased with my bargain price!!!

flyingpig and all other crafty people - please help!

SOMEWHERE on these forums a long while ago I saw someone had made some lovely envelopes (or something similar) as a nice way of glamming up vouchers or gift cards for presents, but I can't for the life of me remember what I saw or where!

Do any of you have any pictures of anything like this that you might have made that I could have a look at to get inspiration from please?? I king of know in my mind the type of thing i might like to make, but I would love some pictorial inspirations if you have any?!

Many Christmassy and Sparkly Thanks in advance!! lol

i have messaged the lady seling it (the cuttlebug) and it doesn't come with any instructions or dies so may just be better for me to buy a new one as it will come with both of those £77 in hobby craft but may be able to pick a new one up from ebay for a bit cheaper

Sorry to butt in!!! I've been looking at Cuttlebugs on ebay too!! Not many about and don't seem to be much cheaper than buying a new one. Can someone please tell me (I am very new to this and haven't got a clue!) can cuttlebug embossing folders be used with a Bigshot machine? Bigshots seem to be cheaper than Cuttlebugs? I want to use the Swiss Dots to emboss my wedding invitations then when they are all done I want to start making more cards for Christmas, birthdays etc.

Thanks in advance - ps I love this thread. You are all so inspirational and friendly!!! (Unlike some other threads on this Forum)
