Thanks for the info on the QK die - i'll stick it on and sort it out later.

Thanks also for the link to paperthreads - I too will be lost for the next hour or so looking through.

Flourgirl - I hadn't thought to look on UK Scrappers, thanks for finding one.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Miss Tine - you certainly could use tis in a bug, you would need a pair of these and that opens up the world of the bigz XL dies HERE (the link is to the sizzix site but they are a bit cheaper if you shop around)

Dammit - now I HAVE to buy one... *sigh* ok - anyone want to buy a dog/2 cats/a rabbit/small child/husband? Or straight swap for a cuttlebug? :rotfl:

    Hi all,

Haven't been keeping up with this thread but thought I would pop on and post a picture of a sweety bag I have made. I have another few to make but just done 1 quickly.

I have seen some of the things posted on here and have seen plenty like this from Americans who make stuff like this all of the time so imagine most of the ideas come from there!

    Anyway one of my bags.

The diecut on the top was orange card, but I used a pad and black ink and distressed it, the ink has sunk in to the card and left dark veins which looks fab!

Also some of you may have seen them already but if you have a home bargains near you then they have stickers in which are halloween related (not just halloween could be used for other stuff) I have been buying these stickers since they first started stocking them, I love them but never seem to actually make things with them!

Fantastic sweetie bag Rusty. I love the shape of the die you have used for the label, brilliant tag too. Great stickers and a bargain at 29p per packet.

Managed to our little sweet shop this afternoon and get all the stuff for DIY snowman..........marshmallows, choc.raisins, sort of bendy strawberry flavoured thing for a scarf (not licourice) flying saucers for hat. Popped them into a cellophane bag with the choc.matchsticks and now its all in a gravy tub I covered with snowman paper.
    Good idea that.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
