Thanks Flyingpig for your brilliant tutorial on the bags of sweets. I am really tempted by the 2 punches but can justify the price right at the moment. I may talk school into buying them so we can make up some of your Elizabeth Shaw mints for the forthcoming fair.
Can anyone tell me what the diameter of the Elizabeth Shaw mints is (don't think it has been posted before?) as I have found some slightly cheaper punches and I'm wondering if they would do the job.
ThanksIt's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission0 -

Thanks craft fairy - I think the more I look at it it'll end up being a cuttlebug - we're VERY spacially challenged in our house so space really is a major factor in choosing... sadly. I'd love to be able to have a proper craft room but there just isn't anywhere to have it *sigh* and with a toddler everything has to be able to be tidied away or she'll get into it (actually she does even if it is tidied LOL)

Tranmere rovers the elizabeth shaw mints are 1 1/4 " at the widest point.
Mrs Tine i have a cuttlebug it's great . Craftfairies is right the big shot does feel firmer and sturdier to use but the bug folds up quite small which i like

I tend not to give cards at Christmas at work, mainly because I have a big box of them in the staffroom and most people have seen the designs.
So I make little trinkets - that hopefully will be got out and used for many Christmas's instead of being thrown away like a card..
This is such a simple idea ...... just a jingle bell - on a ribbon with a handwritten tag in a box made out of kraft card.
This was made last Christmas using Poundland Bells - I think there were 10 or 12 is a long tube .. bargain!
It's hard to gauge the size of the bell from the picture .... but I guess they are a bit smaller than a golf ball.
Every year I stock up when I see tubes of largish bells in the bargain shops .... I like to use red bells the best.
Last year I stocked up on a few tubes of silver ones when they were reduced to 50p a tube in the sales .....0 -

Hi Rosie Ben,
Here are the instructions to make my post-it holders. They look great but I have to warn you it does take time to create all the different mats, before you stick it all together.
Have fun if you make them.
