Ah, while people are mentioning die cutting machines, has anybody seen any good deals about? I have just started with my cheap ebay purchase of a Quickutz squeeze which has done everything I bought it for so no complaints at all BUT it makes you want to go on to bigger things. Hand on heart I do not know how much I would use the machine but if there was a good deal I may just treat myself for Christmas as a gift from OH.0

my first Christmas fayre is tomorrow
so I've spent all day finishing bits off. The pipe cleaners for the reindeer are finally here, so 30 of those to make up this evening.
Good luck to everyone else selling tomorrow0 -

Dizzytina where do you source all the craft stuff from? From the embellishments to the ribbons?
I really want to get stuck into more crafting but only local shop is Hobbycraft and they are so expensive.

Tina they look fantastic
Bitsy I buy loads of bits on eBay. You can buy buttons and ribbon very cheaply on there, often from China / Hong Kong so might take a few days longer, but v cheap.
My fayre went very wellwas a long one, from 10am-4pm so with setting up and packing away it was a very long day and my feet hurt that night! I did pretty well but other sellers were complaining about poor trading. I usually sell at lower and middle schools though so my things are cheap (most expensive item was £2.50!). This was the upper school and was priced more like a proper craft fair. There was a lady opposite me who was selling fabric door wreaths at £30 each - well, she was trying to anyway, I don't think she managed to sell any, which was a shame as they did look lovely.

ohhhh Hobbycraft is really expensive hun. I tend to hunt around we have the range which is good and a boundary Mill and a Dunelm. you may be able to order off some of those online. My wooden blanks come from mainly ebay and www.woodencraftshapes.co.uk hope that helps. If you have a poundland or home bargains anywhere near you can sometimes pick ribbon and buttons up there too x xV 12500 B 8300 N 1900 Oct £51/£1550 -
