Hi All,
This week I have made, Snowman soup, reindeer food, bags of sweets, pints of socks, and lots of cakes....I'm doing a christmas fair in the morning and wondered what kind of prices to sell at, any help appreciated, thanks x0 -
Thank everyone for your kind words. Those are lovely angelavdavis! Are the pictures printed on?
I stencil them on using fabric paints and templates cut from waxed paper using my cricut.
I'm a little disappointed as the weekend of the big Christmas Fayre here clashes with a pre-arranged family get-together with my husband's family. A real pain, however I think a friend with a little gift/teashop in Weymouth may have come to the rescue as she has offered to sell my items for a small commission. I will make up as much as I can and take it down to her at the end of the month. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

HI All
I have been browsing the thread for a couple of weeks looking for inspiration for our school christmas fayre and boy have I found loads of inspiration you are all very talented!!
At the fayre we only have stalls organised by the PTA ( long story and a decision that won't change:(. Therefore I am trying to find things that we can make that are simple and not too expensive.
I think I am going to have a go at making a few of the bags of sweets e.g santa kisses, magic fairy drops, snowballs etc as i have a traditional sweet shop so have loads of choice of sweets to use.
I really like the wooden pegs and wondered if anyone had the little rhyme I have seen used on the bags people have made up and also where you can get the thin wooden pegs from as some that you can buy are quite wide.
A few people have mentioned their blogs but I can't find links to them, is there another thread anywhere that has people's links on?
Am also thinking of doing some pints of socks but can't find any pics can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any advice or directions you are able to give:)

abimonster02 if you click on the persons name in the left hand corner of their post, if they have a blog it is often listed as their home page, so there will be an option to 'visit xxx homepage'
If you look on the flannel cakes thread I am fairly certain there are plenty of pints of socks.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Can I just ask a question about cupcakes? Do you make them in normal little paper cases, or silicon and then put them in posh cases when decorated?
Mine never look as good as anyone elses.
This year I am sticking to my tried and trusted stamping and colouring in cards, and little stocking filler gifts. Will try and find a photo.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

I cook mine in the cases, Asda have got some nice foil effect ones, also its best to use a deep muffin pan not a shallow one like you would use for mince pies hth:)0 -
