I used double sided tape. The eyes and noses on the dogs are printed. click here to download PDF sheet of them (not quick to open)0 -

Heres a pic of my Christmas hearts and stockings, when I stuffed them I added a cotton wool ball, with a drop of vanilla and cranberry refresher oil on it, into the middle of the stuffing. the bells were from a wreath I got for £1 which covered up the end of the ribbon where I sewed it on. the buttons or a little cross stiched square was added as decoration. the tiny stocking are made of felt but the hearts (about 6 inches high) were all made from Ikea fleece £2 each in red or white. I have now run out of flipping buttons!Clearing the junk to travel light

I used pva glue to stick googly eyes on mine because it washes off in hot soapy water when you want to use them0 -
Many thanks to the two posters replies re sticking eyes on reindeer.
Will have to try tomorrow evening when kids in bed. Had such good intentions for tonight but did some exercise as soon as littles in bed sat in front of good ol eastenders and feel shattered. Early night so hopefully get a lot done tomorrow.Trying to earn some pennies from crafting again this year!0 -

Absolutely stunning, well done, these will go down a storm :T:Tangelavdavis wrote: »Hello FlyingPig and gifted crafters. I'm back again for another yuletide creative challenge!
I joined in last year and made a little money which was mainly restricted purely because I didn't get on board early enough last year, so I have a selection of stuff that didn't sell this year, plus have started producing this years selection.
As a reminder, I have detailed below what I produced last year, some sold, but I have some remaining as well as flannel cupcakes.
Hubby and I are due to adopt two siblings in the new year, so I would like to raise money to equip the bedrooms and help ease the financial pressure a little. I have lots of materials left from last year, so am desperately trying not to be lured into craft shops to spend yet more money and plan to use instead all the existing supplies. The only thing I am short of is freezer paper (waxed). So I have ordered this today on ebay.
I have alredy signed up to a couple of local Christmas fayres - the big one on the 19th November, so will be working flat out in the next two weeks to make up some stock.
My list of makes are:
*- Christmas stockings
- Christmas card hangers
- Felt tree decorations
*- Hand printed Christmas aprons
*- Lavendar bath salt sachets
*- Christmas Gift and Bottle Bags
* examples of these are in the photo below
I need to catch up on the thread so apologies for not being on board 100% and finding out how everyone is going. I will do a catch up and come back to you - lovely to see some familiar names as well as all the newbies! xx
Well done you, these are gorgeous, I too am doing cupcake flannels this year as I never had time last year but being more organised this year :rotfl: and plan on making 30 so I hope I am not left with any, all funds going towards a holiday abroad next year (1st in 4 years) and congratulations on your adoption, that is wonderful for you, you must be excited and nervous all rolled into one :A:T:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

I have quiet a few snowman soups to make. Whats the best hot choc to use? I drink the highlights stuff, but thats prob more out of habit. I'm looking for a hot choc that is still very yummy, but is a little easier on the pocket.:rudolf: :xmassmile0

I use the jar of highights when doing my Snowman Soup Cones and for the Snowman Soup Bags, I use the packets of highlights, poundland were doing highlights, galaxy and maltesers hot choc sachets (6 sachets in a box) that would perhaps give you a bit of variety.:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T
