  • Well we had a really good Christmas Fair at school today and if I do say so, the santa stall was a huge success thanks to all your wonderful ideas and inspiration.

Sold all the reindeer food - 70 plus packets @ 50p
    Took 25 snowman soup, sold 23 @ £1
Took about 60 Reindeer Poop, only sold about 10 @ 50p
Took about 60 Santa keys and sold about 50 @ 50p
Made about 70 of flourgirl's boxes and filled with cadbury choc and wrapped in cello, sold about 30 @ £1
Made 20 Tree decs with ES mints in packs of 2 - all sold @ 50p
    26 out of 36 perfect men sold @ 25p
Only about 5 Tea / Coffee cards sold @ £1
    7 out of 14 Fridge calendars sold @ 50p
    18 out of 30 peg magnets sold @ 50p

Still got a bit of stock left but I will try and sell that in the next couple of weeks at the totties group I run.

  • I've made some candy cane mice for our Preschool Fair, then found a pattern for penguins which I found easy to adapt to robins & may also work as snowmen. I can't post a photo, though, 'cos I'm a newbie! [Also made one of the reindeer purses shown early in this thread - thank you!

    Is it these ones?...

Magic Fairy Drops - would be OK for Birthdays as well as Christmas - using Jazzies from Poundland - bags weigh 250 grams - and I have put 50 grams in each Fairy Drop bag.

The fairy is from a pack of Poundland stickers - but I there are a lot of fairy stickers in the shops that would be equally as good.
these would be great to make up and put in party bags for a girl's party. i love them

Can you tell me the size of your punches for the ES Mints please? Then it will be emergency dash to hobbycraft with fingers crossed they have them - school fair on Wednesday and I thought these would go well as low cost! HELP!!

I've used pink Smarties for this idea - think they are £1 a tube in a lot of supermarkets at the moment.

The jars are from Poundland (but few and far between - so I buy in bulk when I see them) but IKEA do sets of 4 for £1.99 called Rajtan - that are identical.

The stickers are from Accessorize - £1.75 pack and I got 8 fairies/princess from 1 pack. I have decorated both sides the same.

Helen - these are divine - what size are the punches on the top and side?
