I was in my local co-op the other day and they have ES mints for £1.75 a box.

This offer is still on (until 30th Nov I think) and they also have the Twilights at Half-Price (£1.25)

Emma, maybe change the bags instead of the punches? I did see further back that someone had put four covered ES mints in a normal size cellpohane card bage instead of pretzel bags and they looked just as effective.. it would be a shame for you to have re do everything.

Exacty what I did as I was making them for the school and didn't want to incur any extra costs - used standard card cello bags folded over and sellotaped to fit.

    Hi everyone,

Have been to Poundland & Poundworld, NOTHING for Peppa Pig at all. All Dora, Spongebob, Cars......

Couldn't find any clear baubles either or the glow sticks.......not my day really!!!

Went to The Works, no Peppa Sticker packs there either or clear card bags.

Went to Accessorize and bought 2 packets of their stickers - the one's with sweets on. I bought 4 tubes of pink smarties a few week's ago so I am thinking off doing something with those as party favours? Time is ticking so I will have to use what I have.

Still no punches and I don't have the time to wait for an order from somewhere else :( so will do it by hand as per Flyingpig's instructions :)

I will make the above (whatever it will be), do a notepad & colour pencils covered with a peppa picture (couresy of a kind poster from here who has offered to email me the templates), a printable to colour from the internet, a pencil, a rubber, a sticker (will have to go to Ebay) and a homemade fairy cake with a Peppa edible topper.

Do you think this sounds "stingy", I don't think it does but it's not my opinion that matters.....I would be thrilled if DD came home with those as a party bag.

Thanks to myalphabetgirls, I have a McColls near me :)

Just found this, now why can't this be on .co.uk instead of .com for my smartie creations...

    Hi,

I thought I may have seen some piggy ribbon at Crafty Ribbons, just been to have a look and they do have some..

I don't think it sounds stingy at all. Kids get far too much at parties for me.
DS had a Star Wars themed one in March. I made his cake rom swiss rolls and iced it, it was a light sabre, made my own playdough they had to model Yoda. Made some games up had a relay race then finished with a treasure hunt the goal was to solve the word clue, each clue had a letter on it, this led them to their party bags.
The party bags where red plastic drinking cups with a small torch key ring (light sabre?) and a couple of mini packets of sweets. All wrapped in cellophane with ribon and sticker with childs name on it. They also went home with certificates I had printed saying they were now Jedi's etc.
