  • Hi, this is my first post so hi to all!

It's taken me 5 days to work my way through all of the posts from start to finish (I must admit I did veer off track everynow and then, looking at die cutters and what not!)

Thank you to Flyingpig for starting this and to everyone who has shared all their ideas, thanks to you I am going to be very popular with all the children in my family this Christmas!

In case it helps anyone, I managed to pick up the clear baubles from Poundland (mentioned by someone earlier in the thread, I'm so sorry, I can't remember names, I'm rubbish!) from the Middlesbrough store today, had loads left and also had 800g bags of Bill Oddie/National Trust birdseed, which I'm going to use to make reindeer food, as well as the Bumper Craft bags with loads of paper, ribbons, fiddly bits etc!

Phew, first post done, that wasn't as scary as I thought! :D
  • Hi kittykat85, I'm glad I'm not the only new girl! I'm in awe of the talents displayed on here, ladies, & I think your generosity in sharing your ideas is really commendable.

  • if you pop over to this blog http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/

everday they are posting "Handmade Holiday" tutorials, a different theme each day. If you go into any of the themes & scroll down below the sewing tutorials, you will find a recipe of the day and different stuff to print everyday.

Such as these recipe in a jar and other labels

BTW, I come on here everyday to "lurk" but have yet to make anything lol. I have 3 patchwork quilts to finish before I can do any other crafting, but will definatly join in next year!
