Magic Fairy Drops - would be OK for Birthdays as well as Christmas - using Jazzies from Poundland - bags weigh 250 grams - and I have put 50 grams in each Fairy Drop bag.

The fairy is from a pack of Poundland stickers - but I there are a lot of fairy stickers in the shops that would be equally as good.

The stickers were from a little while ago , sorry - that's the trouble with Poundland ..... you have to buy something when you see it cos they never have them in again ..... and shops vary. But as I said there are a lot of fairy stickers out there that would be as good.

The bags are tall slim bags from Hobbycraft that I have cut down.

As I have said before ...... buy your bags before you make the toppers - its easier to find a bag and work round it than make a topper and not be able to find the right size.

I've used pink Smarties for this idea - think they are £1 a tube in a lot of supermarkets at the moment.

The jars are from Poundland (but few and far between - so I buy in bulk when I see them) but IKEA do sets of 4 for £1.99 called Rajtan - that are identical.

The stickers are from Accessorize - £1.75 pack and I got 8 fairies/princess from 1 pack. I have decorated both sides the same.

I think Flying uses Netabilities - I am sure she'll correct if I am wrong.

Lots of lovely makes ladies. I want to have a go at making some paper baubles, bought some spray glitter paint in silver and gold so will be having a play tomorrow :D
Also found a tutorial for making a Xmas tree from an old paper back book that I fancy having a go at.
    It's here http://www.allfreecrafts.com/christmas/paperback-Christmas-tree.shtml

  • I've made some candy cane mice for our Preschool Fair, then found a pattern for penguins which I found easy to adapt to robins & may also work as snowmen. I can't post a photo, though, 'cos I'm a newbie! [Also made one of the reindeer purses shown early in this thread - thank you!
