Poundland have Peppa Pig deluxe sticker sets in. Not sure what they contain, but you may be able to use them for your embellishments. They also have other things like Peppa Pig instruments, recorder, harmonica, which would make lovely themed pass the parcel gifts.

    That's great, thank you :)

  • I bought my pipe cleaners (and googly eyes, noses and bells!) on eBay :)

well done Chaos, that was some selling :)
  • Chaosweddings well done that's brilliant.

Unfortunately the one i did on friday didn't go down very well. The sellers were split between the main reception area which was well lit and where all the entertainment was held and in a biggish room with a tented fabric ceiling and dingy lighting. People kept complaining they couldn't see what was for sale . the only seller in that room that did well was a tombola for a cancer charity which sold up in less than an hour. All the ones in the well lit area did well though . Seriously considering not bothering again and just sending the lot to my grandaughters school. Didn't think my makes were that bad but they must be. lol
Oh well at least i made my table money back.

  • craftygranny - sounds like it was just a badly organised fair. Your makes are lovely so don't be off by this bad experience. Hope the next one will be run by people that have alittle experience in running an event and be much better.

By the way the theme is Peppa Pig so ANY suggestions would be great :D:D:D:D:D

    :rotfl:
I did a Peppa Pig party for my DD when she turned 3. Here's what we did in addition to pass the parcel
    • Muddy puddles race - cut out four puddle shapes from newspaper, divide into two teams, two puddles per team. They have to race across the room by standing on one puddle, putting the second down in front and jumping onto it, then pick up the one they've just left and so on across the room
    • Muddy puddles - more newspaper puddles, when the music stops you have to stand on a puddle, but there's always one less than the no of children (like musical chairs but with puddles)
    • Pin the tail on Peppa - I bought a Peppa poster from play.com - blanked out the tail, scanned the tail to create loads of copies - use blue tac and you can still use the poster in DD room after.
    • Corners - get 4 different pics from PP, stick them in the 4 corners of the room, when the music stops they have to run to a different corner, pick on of the corners out of a hat, everyone in that corner is out til there is a winner OR everyone in that corner gets a haribo and just keep dancing (I prefer this way as you can keep going with the game for as long as you need!)
    • Party bags - you can get sets of PP stickers from places like the Works that you can split up. I did kitkat wrappers, bought Percy Pigs from M&S that I split up into smaller grip seal bags from ebay with a PP topper, and bought smart price pencils and notepad from Asda that I re-covered with PP images.
I still have all the publisher files I used which I would be more than happy to send you, but I don't know how I would do this?

PS - have been a lurker and love all the makes - am doing Snowman soup and Reindeer poop this year for PTA stall at xmas fair after being accosted in yard for ideas and coming on here for inspiration!
  • Craftygranny,
i had a couple of fairs like that and they make you feel a bit down, your makes are brilliant and dont let anyone tell you different.
