    Quick question for Bitsybeans please.

I read that you used tea to dye your pipe cleaners brown. Did it work OK?
If so, what strength tea and how long did you soak please?

  • Wow that's great Chaos weddings. :T

I'm just making a few final bits for the school fair tomorrow. All the profits go to the school and I hope we sell lots as we have spend over £100 of their money on stock for the makes

If I'm not online tomorrow night you will know why :rotfl:

  • my only tip from doing the fair today would be put prices on items, or put a place card with price on in front of the items as many people at the fair didnt have prices and people were getting fed up asking all the time

I put the tea bag in and filled up the cup about halfway. Left the tea bag in to stew, curled round the pipe clearners and left them all in the tea mix overnight.
When you take them out DON'T wring them of excess tea as they will lose the colour. Leave them to dry on kitchen towel and they should be a dark brown colour. I found a couple of them don't quite have a uniform colour but I don't think that makes much of a difference :o

    Well done chaos :T

Was going to get so much done today but only got boxes made for fudge kebab (3) then had lengthy phone call from lad in scotland we used to look after.
Neighbour reminded me that another neighbour was getting married today so I dragged all my card making stuff out to make her a card

Wanted to do another kitchen organiser but couldn't decide which paper to use.............leaving that now till tomorrow.:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
