I found a dairy milk and a terry choc orange bar in the back of the fridge whilst rummaging for something to pick at, and have turned them into these. Will just take these two on their own to the craft fair just to see if theres any interest as I think i've spent wayyyyy more than I should have as it is :D

  • Many thanks for your reply.

I've just posted a few of my makes to my home page if anyone wants to see!

I love all your makes have you got a tutorial for the hair clips? would save me a fortune as DD2 always comes home with one left in and the other missing!
Just got back from Morrisons - no flannels whatsoever there, someone had said they'd managed to get some but not even a place on the shelf for them in my local one. I managed to get ES mints Milk choc BOGOF for £3.69 so that was cheap.

Wilkinsons online have them if you get them delivered to your local store then there is no postage HTH

Love everyones makes have been busy getting ready for the table top sale next weekedns still got a few bits to do but it is getting there now i might just be ready at this rate !

Jakesmum I love that lilly display have you got a tutorial to make these please i would love to do it for the table for christmas for the kids :D

    http://u-handbag.typepad.com/uhandblog/2008/05/simple-origami.html

This is the instructions I used to make the lilies, then i cut a tiny hole in the bottom and poked the mini chupa chups through the middle (currently a bag of 30 is 50p in co-op as they were brought in for halloween)

THe base is literally a spare cardboard box I had covered in paper and then i used scissors to poke holes in it :) hth

I have been working on this idea for a couple of days and wasn't really sure about the packaging but I think it looks ok. The poem is my own creation so if you think its naff..... tough... lol.... Its short and sweet and fits the labels :) The Glowsticks are from Poundland and you get 25 per tube, I have added a piece of card to the pretzel bag just to give a bit of strength and support to the glow sticks. The labels are cut with nesties and the fairy is clip art resized to fit the smallest nestie (about 1.5 inches)

I love this so simple but really effective :T:T

My DD3 turns 5 on the 1st Dec, I am having her party at home as our local Church Hall is fully booked  and I really do not like the soft play& quick snack for £9.99 a head, I prefer a traditional party, traditional games & handmade thing's where possible :o

Undecided with the numbers yet but I think these would be good for party bag's? Would this be ok to copy you?

By the way the theme is Peppa Pig so ANY suggestions would be great :D:D:D:D:D

Having been a lurker from the beginning and loving every post! I think this is the place to ask a question. I have a 'retail' box of seeds (vegetables & flower assortment) to sell at a pre-school as a fundraiser. As it is our xmas fayre in a couple of weeks time I was going to try and sell them as 'stocking filler' type things.

So what I really want to know is does anyone have any ideas how I can package them/dress them up? I did think that a card with them inside, but what verse/writing to do.
Failing that I will just show them in the box and sell as is!!

Well done on all the makes everyone, keep up the good work and inspiration.

  • I did a matching set of goodies including a seed wallet for my grandaughters teachers like these Carly's were in a bowl and Kaitlyns were on a flat sandwich tray here . They looked great and didn't take long.

Funny you should mention Wilkinson online as I had the same thought earlier!!! I ordered them with no problem and will pick them up at my local store!!!

I didn't follow a tutorial for the hair clips - I just used my Cuttlebug to cut out shapes and then attached them together and then onto the clip. The clips I got in the US and they have a hole in them where you can sew your ornament onto them. I'm sure you will get them on ebay.

Just looked on ebay and they don't have many of the ones where you can sew the ornament on but these are abit like the ones I have.
