    Hi,
i measure out the same weight of epsom salts and sea salt into a metal or glass bowl, mix well. add your essential oil/fragrance and mix again until all salts are coated.
I use skin safe essential oils and some of them are coloured, chocolate smell is brown, strawberry is red ect.... you only need 2 drops of oil per mug of salts used. once all mixed together put in a sealed container.

i never use food colouring in my salts and all my salts/soaps have been tested by a laboratory.
My best sellers are the chocolate or strawberry but also make others

hth and of you need anything else let me know

Thats is really helpful. do you buy your supplies online? I can find salts etc but struggling with the 'safe' colourings/oils?
  • Anyone selling Reindeer Poop - how much are you putting into your bags and what price are you selling it for. So far had people saying 40g and 70g and selling for 65p. Anyone got anything different to this??? TIA

i used to buy all the supplies from a wholesaler, but when they started putting their prices up and delivery costs up i had to buy on ebay in the end

this is the seller i get most of my oils from. this seller also sells the colouring too

With regard to Point of no Return's query, I don't weigh them, but sadly count them out!
My bags are quite small, and I put 20 raisins in - they sell for 50p. I reckon that I get 7 - 8 bags from one of the 200g bags sold in Poundland, so this should equate to about 25 - 28g

Just had a look ,they look great !!
  • Having been a lurker from the beginning and loving every post! I think this is the place to ask a question. I have a 'retail' box of seeds (vegetables & flower assortment) to sell at a pre-school as a fundraiser. As it is our xmas fayre in a couple of weeks time I was going to try and sell them as 'stocking filler' type things.

So what I really want to know is does anyone have any ideas how I can package them/dress them up? I did think that a card with them inside, but what verse/writing to do.
Failing that I will just show them in the box and sell as is!!

Well done on all the makes everyone, keep up the good work and inspiration.
