2 questions please.
A lot of my sour cream containers have come apart a bit, even though I've used a different DS tape after having problems before. This one is wider, and the type where you peel off the white bit. I've had pegs on them too, but have now had to resort to bits of sellotape on the inside. They are made from coloured paper, not card, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?
Second question - well observation really. Once made up, these take up so much room, how on earth do you store them? I'm using them as packaging for my bookmarks, but perhaps they were a bad choice because of the shape? Any suggestions please? Perhaps you all have loads of storage space?Jack of all trades ... Chaos, I brought some Gondolier's Chocolate Cream Wafers from £land. They will make wonderful "arms" in my Make-A-Snowman
They are the long thin biscuits with chocolate inside them ... Will take a picture if you would like.~Ryan James - 25th August 2010~

I have been making a kitchen organiser board (of sorts) for Dad for Christmas ... I am having trouble with my little calendar I printed off. I stuck each month to a post-it note so they would be easy to take off when the month was over ... You guessed it, the sticky post-it notes are failing miserably!
The better half has come up with the idea of punching a hole in them, so they are tear-off months ...
Anyone else have any other ideas as the calendar is small, so a hole punched in it, will take a big chunk out of the months ...
Thanks in advance0 -
Just a hint, and a lot of people may do this already, but when I am working through a thread or a blog or just googling things, if there is a picture of something and I know I would like to either have a go at making something similar, or just want to keep it as a future idea, I save it in a folder called craft ideas or card ideas.
I have a folder full with allsorts of pictures & info and if I am lacking in inspiration, I just flick through and remind myself of things that often I've forgotten about. You can also group things into folders, so Christmas things would all go together. I sometimes do cross-overs too and save a copy in 2 folders, i.e. Christmas and Food, so that I can look in either folder depending on what I want.
For tutorials, or where there is an explanation of something that I might need to refer to, I copy and paste the text & pictures into a Word document and save it so I have the whole thing to refer to.
It saves looking through reams and reams of threads wondering where the info was.
Hope this helps.0 -

A couple of people have asked me about mini bulldog clips for mini calendars etc. there are lots on e-bay - if you just search for "mini bulldog clips"
Last year I bought mine from this seller, below, and can't recommend him more highly.

He has these in yellow and pink - which are lovely for all the year round. Last year he also had red, blue and black ones too - don't know whether it would be worth just asking him if he had any more......
I got some of these in pink and in blue from the same seller last year and they are fab. He delivers quickly too. They look lovely on the coaster calendars .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Ok, this is my attempt at a Kitchen Organiser for me Daddy, and that wretched calendar!!! The red is the post-it-notes that they are stuck too, which are now ALL coming unstuck, was just one last night ...
And Chaos, these are the biscuits I was on about. The one that I took out, just had to be eaten, else it would have gone stale you know ...
