I went to my local market today, ace is not in it for the crafty stall which is there. I'm worried I'm spending more than what I will make. But kind of loving it all so not that fussed and it isnt tons, just a few quid!0

Evening crafters.
Have had a productive evening.
Made and decorated 10 sour cream containers to package my Magnetic Bookmarks.
Printed out a poem I wrote about the bookmarks.
Printed out labels with Perfect Man poem for my Gingerbread Men.
Packaged my SS present ready for a swap.
Finished off my Flannel Cupcakes (used Chuppa lollies as the cherry on the top)
Not up to the high standards of you ladies on here - but I'm pleased with them. Just hope the recipients areJack of all trades ... Master of none

wow this thread moves so fast I have trouble keeping up! I am off to a fair tomorrow, its a christmas one so Im hoping everyone will be in the spirit
I did my first ever one a couple of weeks back but it didnt go very well,. but to be honest I wasnt the right product for the fair it was very much 'true' crafts and vintage clothing and jewellery, so my sweets didnt quite have the right peopel through the doors. Plus it was october so most people still refuse to think about Christmas (silly people why arent they excited all year like us? haha) but I am glad I did it as I learned alot! The fair tomorrow is a christmas fair so Im hoping this will go better, plus people do start to think of buying for christmas now so hopefully I can capture my market

Not sure what other people charge for their sock monkeys but I charge £8 for mine. For the Bah Humbugs I suppose it depends on how many humbugs you are putting in them. I have made them quite small like the old Calypso lolly size and put in 5 humbugs as it just a novelty stocking filler and I intend to charge 50p for them. Can't help with the soup or poop as not made any!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
