Sally Savings ...or clear sticky backed plastic which some cheapie shops stock.

I've been into town today with my sketch book looking at ideas for things to make for Christmas, ideas to 'borrow' :D

Hope all the craft fairs that went on today went well.
I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderful

Hi, thought you good folks may be able to help me.
My daughter is saving to go to america so i've bought her a poundland savings tin (but....its covered in disney princesses..and not quite what i want lol).
I am going to glue the usa flag all over but would like to coat it with something clear afterwards to seal the paper on.
Has anyone any ideas for something cheap that would do this?
    thanks

How about clear adhesive sheets? Like a laminating thing but without the laminator. If you get what I mean.

Sticky back plastic ? Like on blue peter lol.

I pasted what i needed onto a piece of paper cut to fit around and just overlap a little then put it through the laminator and fastened it on with double sided tape.

I'm sure this has been mentioned but I can't remember.

Will unwrapped sweets in self sealing cello bags for Rudolph's Noses etc keep fresh until Christmas if done now?

Want to get them done and out of the way, but not if they won't keep.

I used pritt stick (well a cheaper version) to glue my cartons together, used clothes pegs to help keep them together with the humbugs inside and they've stuck fast. Never occured to me to use DT :o

right mini crisis - can't get candy canes for love nor money. My local Poundland has none and nor does the one in Brum (according to my H but take that with a pinch of salt ;)).
According to mysupermarket.com Sainsbury's have 12 for £1 which is the same price. Please wish we luck getting them otherwise I am going to have a problem :

I can't get hold of candy canes either..apart from the 3pks with a curly straw in wilkos for 84p. Hoping to try sainsburys at some point.
Fingers crossed i can get some from somewhere!!!
