Has anyone ever used the Woodware punches? I have had my eye on the Stampin Up punches for ages after seeing everyone else ordering them!! But I dont make to sell and money is really tight so I just cannot justify spending that amount of money on them.
BUT I have found some Woodware stamps on ebay for £5 - but just wanted peoples opinions on them before I buy them!0 -
Has anyone ever used wild bird seed and edible glitter to make the donkey food?0

But thought I'd mention that I saw some Elizabeth Shaw mints/choc orange etc discs in Lidl today for £2.09 and they also have lots of christmas hollow figure chocolates in santas etc and also very cheap chocolate raisins!
lidl choc raisins are the tastiest I've eaten, lovely and plump and very yummy choc, and the price is great about 65p I think?
Re. woodware punches, I bought a set and I find them very good.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

I have 3 kids to look after and 1 has disabilities its all about prioritising and I do tend to do a lot of my stuff at night when they are in bed or the days my son is at playschool all day HTH
Thanks for that, it's sort of what I've been doing for the Xmas stuff, a lot of evenings and sessions fitted in during the day.heatherbelle wrote: »I have been lurking for a while and have plans to get crafting this week.

Try the Co-Op first - £1.75 a box at the mo so I bought 4 more boxes yesterday. I've now got 6 in total to sort out :eek:BitsyBeans i dont make a huge profit, not as much as i would being at my old job but then again i was paid very well.
it varies from week to week but i dont have a website i use FB and i have nearly 700 fans and since i started this in jan i have only had 1 week that i havn't had an order so ive been very lucky.i have the best of both worlds, being at home with my children and doing something that i love.i dont do craft fairs as i simply wouldn't have the time with two children as i dont really have many people who can look after them.
im hoping to do fairs in the future but at the moment like i say its FB and word of mouth
Thanks for that. I don't earn a significant amount as a Childminder, I work after school 3 days a week and then all day for the other two - honestly if I got a min wage paid job I'd feel soooooo rich :rotfl:
I shall have to see how the crafting thing goes........see what the Universe has in store for meI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Ladies can I please remind you all that it is VERY against the board rules to offer things for sale/swap etc? I've had to remove the posts offering craft items for sale in case you wonder where they've gone.DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
