I bought some of the magnets off ebay that someone recommended on here - small round ones and stuck one to one of my pegs, put two pieces of paper in it and it fell off the fridge! Did I get a duff batch??
  • Emzy81 - not about the cricut create as such but for all major crafting tools at the moment I keep telling myself..... SALES around Christmas... especially if you buy before the 20% tax....

Lol I know but I really wish someone sold patience :rotfl:
  • I am currently on page 22! You have all got me excited about crafting for this christmas. I was planning on making most of my gifts but time got carried away. So making stuff for school fair. Anyway I have a question about die cutters. Is there any that you can use on wood, I mean thinish wood?!

    Thank you.

  • I have a 2" scallop circle and a 1.5" plain circle . They are the closest in size to the su ones i could find . I have the su ones too and there isn't much difference size wise. hope this helps .

Being slightly larger than the SU ones, do they still fit ok in the pretzel bags do you happen to know?

Thanks everyone - if I can give anyone help with sewing, please ask. You lot have been so generous and helpful to me and other who are new to crafting.

Mary - it was me asking for the tutorial, so thank you.
Suppose it's similar to the method we used to back school books!

cuddles = well sort of like the 'back to school' books but if you want to add ribbon for a bookmark or to keep pages together -well thats where I got a bit stuck so its worth a look anyway:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

some of the sizzix dies will cut thin wood i believe . Have a look on craft fairies blog here and if you can't find the answer there leave a message on her message board thingy in her sidebar and she'll reply. she has owned or got most of the machines and is very knowledgeable .
