These are the Christmas cards DS gave out a few years ago. So very simple & cheap too, we made the so they would fit into dinner money size envelopes so small & sweet...ooops! pardon the pun.
    what a fab idea :T

  • Love the Christmas cards - I am deffo going to have a go ..... never thought of putting choc money on a little card. Thank you for inspirartion xx
  • Everyone seemed to be making these last year - peg fridge magnets - bag of pegs cost about £1 + self adhesive ribbons from most craft shops, assorted designs about £1.99 - and various little embellishments - and a bit of magnetic tape on the back (Hobbycraft) not sure of the price

It's nice to give something back Helen, glad I could help though I'll tell DS as it was a team effort.
I think we may try the reindeers but mini cadbury size this year. Saw some tiny white pom poms in the range today too however we might use red glitter noses if I can't get red.

  • Hi Piglet ...... not sure if this is the information you want, but I'll try and help......

The cello bags we've been showing in this thread for Christmas sweet bags are display bags .... the sort card makers put their finished cards in.

I did a very quick search on e-bay - "tall slim cello bag" and got this among other hits

To make sweets bags like Hollies you may have to cut some of the length off.

As to the bag toppers - these can be made very simply by cutting a rectangle of card and folding down the middle and decorating. I have a die cutter that will cut out a more fancier topper.

Hope I have helped a little
  • Oh my life Hogshead ...... I never thought of making teeny weeny little baby reindeers ....... using the miniatures!!! ......... heads upstairs to have a little play ....... THANK YOU AGain ...... brilliant idea .....

I wrote to Cadbury today ..... asking them to pull their finger out and to flood the shops with miniatures as we crafters are desperate for them!!!!!
