These are the Christmas cards DS gave out a few years ago. So very simple & cheap too, we made the so they would fit into dinner money size envelopes so small & sweet...ooops! pardon the pun.

    love love love these x

:eek:I would love a sewing machine, and I was looking at those ones from Hobbycraft as I know I would only do little bits and pieces so one of those big expensive ones would be wasted on me. You'll have to let me know if its any good as i'm thinking of asking OH to get it me for Christmas :D

I am just making 2 sock monkeys have never made them before and used the machine it is really good, all i need to do is stuff them and sew the body parts together. My local one only had a few left today but there were loads yesterday the lady said they had been selling really well today for some reason, any way to be honest for price and size and how easy to use 10 out of 10 from me well worth the £20.00 so far.

Loving all these ideas............think all my family are going to have rudolph choccy bars this year...lady for the girls of course.........lol

All I've done today has been a tic tac snowman...........in between sorting out washing for the weekend, general tidy up etc.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

  • Anyone using the Anita's Christmas stickers....

I bought some off the internet yesterday, £1.50 a pack. They got delivered this morning and I headed to HobbyCraft for some bits and pieces and exactly the same stickers but in a different packet are 99p!! Would have been rude not to buy loads!!

    Hi all

Thank you to everyone who gave advice for cello bags, I had to go into works today, so got them from there, saves a trip!
I have also bought a small selection of card bits so I can atempt to make some christmas cards this year, not sure how successful i'll be, lol, but worth a try me thinks. Any basic ideas, must haves, etc would be really grateful if you could pass on, many thanks. Really caught the crafting bug after lurking on here!

Wow, these ideas are just getting better and better! Well done all!

Well, I went to Home Bargains and Poundland last Friday and was very disappointed. Managed to get two packs of Christmas stickers from HB but they were a bit expensive for what they were and wasn't much else around. No sign of stickers in PL, and no sign of felt either! (which was the main reason I went!!). Booo. Picked up a craft starter kit in PL though so will have a rummage and see what I can do with it....
