Hi hoghead, thanks for your tip about the corner rounder, any idea which type to get or best place to buy type it into google and ebay and got a little lost.

Ladsmadd - this is what I use when rounding corners of cards, so would also work if you are doing sweet bag toppers. It is really easy to use as well. If you don't want to buy online, then hobbycraft or a craft or art should would sell them.

Thanks Jemtom, I am really enjoying making them and now that I what I am doing I am getting quicker putting them together. I faff around quite a bit working out which papers to use.

In answer to your question - if you mean the round scallop circles that Helen has used for her chocolates - I am guessing it would be a piece of card that has been punched out with a scallop circle and then hand decorated. I also make these quite a lot as a small gift to go with a voucher I may give someone for a birthday present, and I cut 2 scalloped circles with my nestabilities on my cuttlebug. I then attach one to the front and one to the back of an Elizabeth Shaw round chocolate mint. I usually cut the front circle out of 'pretty card papers'.

I was sure I paid 99p a pack for these Anitas stickers from The Range .... but I have also seen them for £1.50,

I wasn't 100% about them at first but now I love them!

LittleKitty2010 - yes you can seal the cello bags with a heat sealer.

What size are these sweetie bags please? Nice alternative to jumping in with the big shot for the other sweetie bags!

Thanks this is just the type of tool I was refering to. Ladsmadd try picking one up, I would imagine all craft stores have them, save you postage however you will end up spending more whilst in there so counter productive really.

I think cornering the lower L & R would look just fine but you could also try cornering the upper L & R too if the tool will take the double fold. Give it a shot.

The scallop circle is a Stampin Up punch which flying pig has used. You need to get this from a demonstrator, google for one in your area, they are a plenty. Helens friend is a demo so she may help too. I have scallop nesties & could use those but I too am considering buying the SU puch as it'll be much quicker I could punch lots out on my lap rather than get the Big Shot out. Is that a bad excuse?
  • Hogshead . I just bought the stamping up punches for the same reason . I have several hundred t bag cards to make and it's far quicker to punch out the front panel than cut them all on the cuttlebug. Helens friend Lisa (craftfairies) ordered them for me and delivery was very fast . I bought the scalloped and the plain. Here's what i made to try them out at the weekend .

They look great, thanks for the pics.

I don't have a cuttle bug/big shot and they seem great for a beginner. How much are they?

    Hi There
Did you just seal the bags with a sealer and glue the toppers on?
Also, what size are those cello bags?
I really want to do some sweetie bags but Im not jumping in with Big Shot immediately - I do have several craft punches though!
    TIA
    xx
  • Yes i did , i used pretzel bags from this ebay seller . They are 2 " by 9" and for these i only used half a bag sealed the top and that sealed the bottom of the piece that was left so i got two from each bag. very mse lol. I.ve just ordered loads of different sized cello bags so might experiment with making some .
