Thank you sooo much for that , you are all great on here, very talented at the crafty stuff. First year i'm being crafty for christmas (normally only crafty with the kids so nice to have a purpose!) i can tick another job off my list now, wanted to do these for ages after seeing these posts.

They have got packs of red glitter noses in hobbycraft.

piglet27 they have some in the works 99p for 50.

Brill the Works, Cadbury outlet & Hobbycraft all on each others doorstep.
If I go to bed now tomorrow will be here sooner so I can shop.

Chocolate spoons with hand painted handles.
These are gorgeous! How do you make them?
  • Couldn't be simpler.

I got cream coloured plastic spoons and made the holly pattern using Sharpies pens - because they are sort of permenant and will write on plastic (buy packs from The Works etc and cheaper shops as they are expensive in WHSmith etc)

Any sort of plactic spoon will do though - this year I am using silver ones.

Melt chocolate and spoon a small amount into the bowl of the spoon.

The white chocolate stars are from Morrisons - sprinkle a few on the melted chocolate so that they stick on to it.

    Leave to dry/set

When dry/set put in cello bag, add ribbon and tag.

    Hope that makes sense

Hi Everyone, Some fab ideas and I am inspired to get crafty this Christmas! If anyone has a Buyology near them they are great for cheap "crafty" bits. I got a pack of new baby ribbon yesterday, five different designs, a metre of each for 99p yesterday which I thought was very good. They also have packs of 50 of the cello bags for 99p.

However I am after some pointers with die cutters. I have googled them so now sort of know what you are talking about but am still pretty confused as to how they work. Do you buy a machine and then but different plates or something for the different designs or do you design things yourself and then programme them??

    Thank you!
