This as a very simple idea that could be sent instead of a card, popped in an envelope or made into a parcel tag.
I've handwritten it, but it could been do on a computer using a handwriting font.
I've used a small wooden star - but there are LOTS of different star embellishments around OR you could make your own with dough, filmo or air drying clay.
You could also change Christmas Wish .... to Birthday, Wedding Day, New Years etc.0 -

thanks flying pig although not nearly as good with ideas or crafting as you, you are the queen of crafting.
hi holly, yes i thought of the pompoms but couldnt get any yesterday they were only sold in multipack and hardly any red in them, but thanks for the idea of pipe cleaner. i definately need to get some crafting supplies in from somewhere.
i meant to say yesterday the works had plastic jars in with snowmen and santas on the top but they were £1.99 and were definately not worth the money didnt even have sweets or anything in them. but yours look great flyingpig, will definately be keeping my eyes open for some jars and trying to attempt something with them as i have brought my uncle some humbugs to go with his presents but wanted to put them in something as they look a bit bare on their own. i dont know whether it was this thread or another one but someone had done something for humbugs saying "bah humbug" on it so i would like to get a jar and do something like that.0 -
How about doing your own gift boxes?just posted pics on my homepage of 3 little gift boxes I made last night ,the largest ,red, one is 3 inches square.
I found the templates on the net and printed them out.the easiest is the box with the heart on,though it needs some pretty paper to cover.Earnings £245 in 2014:T thanks to swagbucks0 -
hollie - thanks your a star i was getting really annoyed tried everything but that!
this is my female chocolate reindeer i know she looks a bit deranged couldnt get any craft bits from town so had to use what i had at home and also im not very good at crafting but hopefully i will get better with a bit of time and plenty of practice. i just got a bar of the asda smartprice chocolate to do a trial run took the outer wrapper off and just left the foil on, used some beaded wire which is meant to be a necklace but not sure it goes very well. will have to have a trip to a crafting centre and get some bits.
Aw I LOVE it! The only thing I would say is to make the antlers a different colour to the body and it will be perfect!0 -
