:T have u used organza bags?? couldn't work it out at first if it was the colour of theoats that were coloured lol looks really good
I used sheets of papermania angel hair which i folded in half and sewed the sides up to make a bag. Angel hair is basically silver (or gold) sheets of a material which is in between a paper and a fabric - that is probably the worst description ever and probably confused you even more!!!). the sheets are 69p each and you can make quite a few bags from each sheet. I'll see if i can find a link.V 12500 B 8300 N 1900 Oct £51/£1550 -

hollie - thanks your a star i was getting really annoyed tried everything but that!
this is my female chocolate reindeer i know she looks a bit deranged couldnt get any craft bits from town so had to use what i had at home and also im not very good at crafting but hopefully i will get better with a bit of time and plenty of practice. i just got a bar of the asda smartprice chocolate to do a trial run took the outer wrapper off and just left the foil on, used some beaded wire which is meant to be a necklace but not sure it goes very well. will have to have a trip to a crafting centre and get some bits.0 -

Last year Poundland and Poundworld sold these jars in sets of 4 for £1. But they don't have them in very often, so when they do I tend to buy as many as I can carry, because I know I won't see them again for ages.
However IKEA sell identical ones called Rajtan - but they cost a little more at £1.99 for 4
I've used a scalloped punch and a plain circle punch sold by Stampin Up. I've printed the sentiment and then punched it out with the punch. But you could easily do it by hand.
The snowflake is also made using a punch.
I have put self adhesive ribbon round the jar lid and put the tag thread under it to keep it in place.
I've used "posh" jelly beans in this jar ..... the ones where you can pick the colours, but they were a bit expensive.
All the other jars I made I filled with Poundshop jelly beans .... and could fill about 2 jars with one bag .... with a few left over for me to eat!!!0 -
o wow i love the jars there fab,i know asda do jars like that aswell but have no idea how much they are, dont think there expensive0

Hollie - have u drawn the reindeers???? xxI have 2 gorgeous kids0

If you don't mind a different style jar don't forget that the Asda ownprice beetroot and some other things work out ridiculously cheap - you may need to buy new lids as the beetroot stains them but it's still very very cheap
My only problem is that I LOATHE pouring out the contents and yet it's SO yucky I have to! :S*sigh* Wonder what the compost heap would say to 20 odd jars of Asda produce :rotfl:
Edit to add - I took so long doing stuff Hollie beat me to it! Hollie I think they're something like 17p for the filled jars - then a bit for some new lidsDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
