You're more than welcome and I'm now grinning like an idiot so thank you :D ... I'm always so worried about posting and waiting for a negative reaction - I deliberately avoid internet forums because of all the aggravation that goes on - but everyone is so nice here. Anyway, enough of my rambling, it's all off topic anywhoo, back to lurking for me :D Night all xxxx
I have always thought the same but you never know unless you just go for it,and Helen it is lovely that u want to share with everyone and that everyone is doing the same just goes to show there really are lovely people out there as many people are unwilling to give u advice or help you :D

i am hoping they have the boxes of minatures in either my home and bargains or the pound shop. i am also definately going to do the wrapping chocolates bars (with brown paper and turning them into rudolph faces). so going to have a look around this morning and see what crafty bits i can get. i know what you mean i sometimes ponder wether or not to write something on forums but this is the only one i use as its helped me so much in the past couple of years.

Hi flyingpig, only just noticed your lovely new thread, I absolutely love your altered advent calendar, it's gorgeous :D

I made a countdown calendar for my mum and dad last year after seeing flyingpig's one. Here's mine, I used a coaster...

Helen I must apologise as last night several hits showed labels 8 as really ornate edged dies however checking today I have seen 8's just as you blogged. I think my search was picking up the dimentions & giving images but all of the same set hence my confusion (I had a full belly & was tired am I excused )

No food sealers on ebay but a few others which will do the job if no more of yours come up. I have emailed seller & he is awaiting stock, bet he wonders what all the fuss is about! Helen do you extract air from your sweet treats or simply seal for freshness?
Lastly cello bags were on offer in Hobbycraft a short while back, anyone know if the offer is back on or bargain cello bags elsewhere.

i have been to my pound shop, the home bargains and the home and bargains (think they are the same store) in my town cannot find the dairy milk minatures but will check again in the week. if i cant find them just going to stick to the rudolph chocolate bars, do you think if i could get some bows i could make ones for men normal (as on pics) and for ones for women do female ones or would it look daft? going to have to get some supplies this week and have a go see what they look like.
