  • All,

The first Groupon voucher i purchased was a £40 Radley voucher for £14. Total bargin! I love Radley stuff and so to get some money off was brilliant :O)

The second voucher i purchased was for 4 1 hour Pole Fitness Classes for £10. This saved me £22.50. I am now totally addicted to pole

    :O)
  • I think if you buy a groupon for something like a hair cut or manicure etc it seems to work ok, it's when you purchase a product like the brushes it goes wrong because they can't keep up with demand? *sigh*
  • *sighs* still not heard anything. Anyone else having better luck?!

    Hi,

I too am still awaiting 2 sets of the 'make-up' brushes I redeemed on 9th Sept, I have contacted Groupon & they have filled out a missing items form!!

Has anyone actually received the brush sets????????

If I have not received them by next monday I will be asking for a full refund from Groupon - 6 wks wait is RIDICULOUS!! especially when you receive an e-mail stating 10 day delivery

I recently made my first purchase with Groupon and I have to speak as I find and say I am delighted. I paid for and ordered the product on 19 September, they said it would up to 15 days delivery, and it arrived this morning. Well done Groupon:beer:
  • Still not heard a peep from either Groupon or Louise Walsh so going to claim back through paypal.
  • We just got our Louise Walsh Stuff on thursday.

And, what were they like in quality, heard nothing but bad reports ??
We've just cancelled our order with groupon on Friday.
  • Todays national groupon offer is for some makeup brushes, but it is a different brand this time - maybe that'll work out better?
In the end the journey's brought joys which outweigh the pain.
No buying toiletries in November: INs 1 OUTs 10. Total OUTs since October: 26

I want to add my voice to the ranks of the dissatisfied Groupon customers. In short, here is my experience -

Bought a voucher for a restaurant 3 course meal offer - could redeem lunchtimes or evenings during the week before 9.30 p.m (that's the same as most restaurants during the week and indeed weekends so not limited times). Tried to book several weeks before the end of the deal and was told they were no longer taking bookings for vouchers with Groupon (lesson learned here, don't say you have a voucher up front) but it was implied that regular bookings were still being taken. Told me I could come during the day which of course, I cannot, seeing as I work miles away (MIIIIIIILES away) and take 30 mins for lunch only :-) It would take twice that to drive there alone! Groupon are only offering to refund credits not money onto my card.

I will never use Groupon again. Or the restaurant, who have been very foolish indeed - we eat out and entertain clients often, they could have made a fortune from our repeat business had the food/service been any good. The Bell in Tanworth in Arden if anyone is interested - I was extremely disappointed by the tone taken with me by the manager too, so this has in no way encouraged me to go there. Especially since it's too easy to say they are booked - Groupon already have your money so where's the proof these bookings exist?

The most important thing is that Groupon is often okay if you can get the product/service you've bought, but they oversell vouchers which mean some people spend money and get nothing in return. Not worth the risk.
  • I have today received the 2 sets of make up brushes from Louise Walsh & Iam very disappointed - they're supposed to be worth £99 what a load of rubbish they are cheap crap!!!!!

They are in a cheap plastic wallet & are not real hair bristles, I have a set from Cosco that cost £30 & are real hair & by far superior quality than Louise Walsh - they look exactly what I paid for them £18. :(

What with the disappointment of these tacky brushes & 2 memory foam pillows that are not worth what I paid for them (£29 for 2) Iam beginning to wonder if these firms are sending out cheap alternatives to their expensive goods?

I have now unsubscribed to Groupon & shall be spending my money with reputable firms in future!! ;)
