Ooh Moneysaver how exciting!
I collected my first lot of books last night - got back 22 out of 35, but as I forgot to put in slips telling people to leave them out I thought that wasn't bad. I have two more houses to knock at this evening - one was "still looking" and the other one wants to order but wanted to see me first as apparently my territory have had a lot of problems with people dropped books round but never going back, or taking orders and never returning with the goods! Hopefully I've reassured her. From the 22 books I got 2 orders - one for £42 and the other for £12 - although that one forgot to write her door number on the order form! I shall do some research and see if I can track her down, failing that I have some slips to put through the doors..... Fingers crossed I will get some more books back this evening - am hoping to get away without door knocking again.
Managed to get the 22 books I got back out again last night anyway - will collect those on Saturday morning. Quite happy with progress so far!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I know i've read about this on here before so sorry to repeat but I couldnt find the post.
This week I have tried to encourage some men to order from me and 2 of them have said the same thing about mens range. They both said Avon need to update a bit as Black suade is "old" now. They both said they had been given it as a gift in the past and people in the street or in a bar had commented that it was an avon fragrance. They said it put them off ordering
One chap said he liked Joop and if there was a joop like fragrance he'd probably buy it. Does anyone know the mens fragrances well enough to know if there is one with that type of scent? would be nice to get a couple of male customers
Also, just had another order from a new customer!HAPPY!
One of my customers has ordered from every book so far (this being my 4th) I've got loyalty cards for free gift after 6 orders, which I have promoted, but Im itching to give her a free gift now as a thank you and to encourage her to keep ordering. What do you think...? should I hold on or slip a small pressie in with her next order?0 -
Hello everyone
I've not been on here for ages but glad to see that there are some people I still know lol. And lots of new people which is great.
My Avon is going really well and only have £277 till I make PC yippee it will be my first time.
Spoke to my ASM about becoming a sales leader but decided that its too much work at the mo what with the little ones. But hoping to get a couple more roads to do.
Speak to you all soon xx0 -

Ah dont give up!
I've given up on the streets thing, never got any allocated and it turned out more bothersome than anything else.
My plan of attack has been going to coffee mornings, local ladies groups etc and making aquaintancesI give books to f&f who have been really good actually, I also asked my mum to take a book into her work and I have had orders each campaign so far through them. I always give them a few samples and some little choccies (from a cheap tin of roses or celebrations) to keep them sweet and that has worked well. I have also offered them double loyalty points between c 17 & 1 so if they order from all 3 thats a free gift straight away
only got that offer for that group of customers.
I have wasted a lot of books by over ordering so wont be doing that again, dont want to be over ambitious when I have no territory. Samples and incentives seem to be working for me.
Chin up, you'll get there. Promote your FB group as much as possible.
I joined loads of local groups and put a link to my page on there and then offered discount or free gift when they order and mention my page. I've made more than I've "lost" on samples and incentives. Give it a go xx0 -

here goes 2nd attempt to reply!
I think it just could be one of those days where I'm not really too great with this cold and with kids being on half term and fighting over the silliest things!
I will keep promoting my fb page where possible. and with the chocolate, I think my area will just eat the choc and then leave the book out! i found some of the people put the book out 2 mins after getting it thru their door! I'm trying a new area tomorrow so hopefully they may order something! even encloused a newsletter and at the bottom put if they ordered over a certain amount then they would recieve a free gift- even that didnt work!
think its time to prep books and promote page again! i feel like i spend most my time preping books!0 -

it's in the previous thread, I got to make DS dinner, and then Big DS (DH) will be in for his, then got to get avon orders on and do mega order for my party and stalls.
so will try and look for it later.
yes, if you want to give her a little something, go ahead. But don't go mad with how much you spend. I am sure she will appreciate the gift0 -

Ah, I put choccies in when I deliver their goods
I know the feeling with cold etc. I've had one for 2 weeks and really struggled to get going but feeling much more positive now.
Honestly, talk to everyone! There is a lady who works at our local supermarket who is soooo chatty, I always go to her now, even though it takes 10x longer to get through checkout as I'm working on giving her a bookheehee gotta be crafty!
