I'm on half term atm and collected my last lot of books late on sunday so thought 'i'll put them back out tomorrow'...then yesterday I had a busy day but every intent on prepping them to put out today...now it's raining and windy, haha guess it will have to wait till tomorrow!

I had someone yesterday who hadn't left it out, so I put a reminder and went back. I caught them in and they said they'd left it out ages ago and eventually threw it away because I hadn't gone back. I could have sworn his brochure collection day was last Sunday, not the one before that, so I have no idea why it got left out early. No other brochures got left out a week early. They're not interested, but I'm the sort of person who hates it when people think I'm wrong, disorganised, or not doing my job properly. He was nice about it, and I didn't want to get into it on the doorstep, but I was walking away thinking, "I bet he thinks I'm unreliable".
I'm just the same, I, Geek! Yesterday I delivered my orders and one customer (who is absolutely lovely) was surprised to see me. She said she could have sworn I'd emailed and said I'd be delivering on Thursday. She was lovely about it and gave me the money for the goods, but I couldn't wait to get home and check what I had actually emailed! It was Monday, so I was very relieved!0 -

Had to laugh when picking up books yesterday - on new territory i put an introduction note in with 3 tick boxes - "yes please leave me an Avon book approx. every 3 weeks", "sorry i already have an Avon rep" and "sorry but i am not interested in Avon at this time".
Someone had put a huge cross in the last box and crossed out "at this time" and written in very big letters "EVER".
oh dear. you have to laugh sometimes.:rotfl:DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Super smiley today
One of my friends in work asked me for an extra order form today - she gave her book to her Nan and Mum and they have made orders for £45 and £58!! I told my friend that she could have a free gift for her hard work. How good is that?
I am pleased because i have had NOTHING from my new territory. They are mainly elderly people and a lot of them requested not to have a book again (i'll try them again in a couple of months when theyve forgotten lol). I just have my regular customers books to collect on sunday and hopefully there will be some orders just in time for making my order on Monday. Not going to be as good as c16!DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

I had a good C16 but in C17 have only got three orders.
Hey ho, maybe they are saving themselves for C18 and C01. Here's hoping :j

C17 is rubbish for me too, so far, though I haven't had the books back from most of my regulars yet.
I'm surprised, as I think C17 is really good and there are some excellent offers in there. I wonder whether it's because it's quite Christmassy and some people just don't want to think about Christmas yet?0 -
Hey guys,
just a quick question when ordering in the samples, sales aids and stationary part you can order Representative calling cards, delivery direction cards and general contact cards just wondering if anyone knew exactly what was written on these?
Also a customer cancelled her order and she ordered the colourtrend gift set which included a purple bag, and three colourtrend items and when i put them in to credit my account it comes up pricing the make up items as well so does that mean it'll take the extra off my account balance or it'll figure out that it's all connected?
Thanks, trying to get a bit more organised! Finally dealing with debts.

Lloyds o/d - £1446.97 (limit £1500) | Halifax o/d - £218.37 (limit £250) | Mum - £300 | Barclaycard - £684.56 (limit £800) | Vanquis - £163.02 (limit £250) | Topshop - £69.92 | Miss Selfridge - £49.30

Important for new reps - apparently Avon have now decided that the initial credit limit is the brochure cost, it will no longer take into account your discount. Ie if your limit is £200 you can only order £200 worth, anything over that and you will have to pay the difference.
Other sl have only found out because of reps orders getting held, obviously complaints were made, so now theyve issued a statement to sl...just wanted to make sure everyone knows!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Well we went away yesterday morning, go our shed as safe location which driver has left deliveries in many times before. Also got a storage box, greenhouse and metal shed. .:.where does he decide to leave it - outside he back door by the rabbit hutch!
Mil went to feed animals this morning for us and had to bring it all in...returns not been taken as obviously he doesn't understand what a shed is...by the back door is not secure! Mil says books are ruined, shes had a quick look in some of the boxes and lots of stuff is ruined, including the items such were separate to boxes - bags etc!
Great when we get back later got to try and see what can be salvaged and what the driveris going to have to come and deliver again! Told customers we were delivering Thursday night as usual but guessg there won't be many orders that can actually be completed! So cheesed off, I can only think they have a new driver who has never seen a shed before, and though a shed was outside next to a rabbit hutch!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
