One of the ladies has ordered from me before (only 2 items, £10 total) and I'm pretty sure she will order again in the future, so I don't mind so much when she asks for samples. She actually is trying before she buys, as it were. I just have to put limits on it and only give her one now and then. But one of the other ones has said flat out that she doesn't have the money to buy anything (I doubt this is true from some of my observations, but be that as it may....). I don't charge for samples.. but I also don't think they realise I have to pay for them myself. I think I will find a way to drop that into conversation next time they bring it up. Maybe it will help.

Does anyone else think Avon connects is loaded with 'plants'? Or am i just a bit too cynical these days?

I don't know about Connects, but i have seen that Avon deletes any negative remarks about its products from the Facebook page. My ASM actually noticed this too. :eek:

Yes I have ordered 8 bottles of Outspoken with the body lotion and spray from HT (moneymaker), my customers have ordered the perfume at full price so I was going to give them the other two bits as a kind of Rep offer for free.

I have to agree with you, I've been on there a few times and didnt like it! I try to stay away from it if I can help it!

Hi all

I've been an Avon rep for about 18 months now and really enjoy it (although I really need to up my game a bit now!). Apologies if this has already been covered in the thread but I need some help/suggestions. I have a stand at a local fete (taking place at the end of Nov) and I want to make it as successful as possible. Does anyone have any hints or tips?

Hi guys
Just been reading and catching up.

Well, what a day I had yesterday. Ended up in the hospital all day so couldn't get any brochures out. Doesn't matter though as I found out that my little baby isn't growing as quickly as she should and I will be induced on Tuesday coming so I should have a baby next week!!! I only had one customer order plus friends and family which got me to £80.00 so I'll send that away and hopefully be back on time for the delivery next Tues. Can I have it delivered to my Mums instead (different town though) incase I'm still in hosp?

My ASM came out and gave me 30 Campaign 18 books too so I've prepped 10 to hand out to friends and family and will put the others out to houses as soon as I'm back from hosp and also all my Campaign 17 books too so hoping that next Campaign is more successful! My order is due in on 19th Nov so should have time for one/two drops offs (will have to see how I cope with a newborn lol)

Collected my avon books from my 1st street last night! got £60 worth of orders! redistributed them to the next street last night too!

was chuffed with £60 as i thought it was gonna be harder going!
