    ok, whatever you can fit into the boxes without it being overweight, do that. Then make sure you mark on the returns forms the ones you are returning. Put 2 barcodes on your 2 boxes, and put both barcodes on the returns forms. Doesn't matter if you have 3 forms, put the barcodes on each, and put the forms in one of the boxes, two in one, one in the other.

    Then when you get your next delivery, return the other stuff with those boxes and use the same order forms.
  • Thanks for your help. I found 2 more substancial boxes and they actually way 8kg each so not over the limit. I have 2 return orders packed in one box and the big return order in the 2nd box. So I just need to put 1 bar code on each box, but the same barcode on the 2 forms in the one box and put another bar code on the other box and put that bar code on the other form, right? lol Its mighty awkward because my delivery goes to my ASM (im not able to be here to recieve it) and gets put in her greenhouse, any returns are to be left in the greenhouse so that the courier can collect when he drops the delivery off... its about £100 worth of returns and they are going to be in her greenhouse over night :\

    Thank you! I don't live in Leeds myself, although originally from there, I live near Hull but thats the local depot to us - whats got me is we have no snow here at all (we got it really bad the time before - 3 weeks on and its still going!) and my mums says they've had a dusting in Leeds so I just don't understand whats happened - they've even rung in the past when items are going to be delivered seperate - maybe i've just been lucky up to now!

    Think I may have it if you're still looking? I got an email from SL yesterday saying it would be Monday, was meant to be Friday originally, then it changed to Saturday, then she emailed to say Monday. 10 minutes later (while I was ranting about it) it turned up, usual driver, usual time, so I don't think anyone really knows sometimes. But we're the same hardly any snow.

    Just on the returns, I don't always have a box so some times put it in a (strong) carrier or bin bag and stick the label to that, it seems to be accepted fine.

    Shame about the deliveries, I had the same last week, Avon told me one thing and entirely the opposite happened! The courier was confused as well as it was 2 days late but he didn't know why (he had been told to deliver it on a Weds but had it since Mon), and it hadn't even snowed!

    I've got one more order to deliver on Monday night and then thats Avon done with till the New Year for me (bar putting in an order for a couple of bits for me like handwash and a calling book in C2). Thanks to everyone on here for all your help & hope you have a merry christmas! :)

    Ooooo so irratated - arranged with one customer to deliver this morning between 10-12 - went round in, stood outside in -3 knocking, rang her mobile no answer! No doubt it'll be the same as last time - o sorry didn't hear you knocking! - so means I'll have to go back another time. I obviously forgot this morning that us avon ladies have nothing to do in the run up to christmas bar chase after sodding customers!

    I had one, she has incoming calls only, no other way to contact her, have turned up at her house 3 times, her son says she is not in. He is a strange one, stands in the front room just wearing a towel and everyone can see through the window! I rang her, she said still wants avon, promised to be in last Wednesday. Got there eventually, she wasn't at home again!

    These are the reasons I stopped doing territory, last year I'd be freezing & in tears by the time I got home from attempting to deliver Avon. I just do F&F now, I'm lucky that I have quite a large customer base at work as another rep gave up xxx

    Wouldn't mind so much, but this is a customer who found me on facebook so i don't need to deliver to her - but then she orders £50 so hard to not deliver to her!

    Edited to add - well shes text me back - sorry ended up staying at my mums

    gaaahhh. O well, at least we've arranged for tomorrow morning so hopefully the house will be a bit tidier soon lol! Wish me luck, got the bulk of the orders to try and deliver between 1-3, hoping most people are in so its all done!

  • maybe you could ask for her mum's address if she doesnt live too far, then that way if she's not in and says she's at her mums then she's got no excuse not to be in at one of the address!

    LOL! :rotfl::T

    Oh, I deffo agree with you sooooo much!

    Another pet hate is when they keep you chatting at their doorstep in the pouring rain (never occurring to them to let you shelter) or as happened to me a few weeks ago - I got caught out with only a jacket on when a sleet/snowstorm started. Customer was on the phone chatting to her daughter to let her know how bad the weather was, all the time watching (and ignoring) me hold out her Avon order to her!! :mad:
