I advertised in my local paper that i delivered Avon, they give you 7 lines free in the for sale section and I ended up with two new customers that both ordered, trying it again this week since I have hardly any houses that want a brochure!

I've been lucky this campaign because a few F&F have made orders but otherwise i would've struggled. I also have one customer who is really into her anew stuff which is great because she's spending like £40 a time. I have sold one sparkle top and one glam box (although cutomers have qualified but just aren't interested). i might still order an extra glam box and keep it as a prize as my promotion for xmas is 'Prize worth £30 for the highest orders in c17, 18 and 1'. Hope it works as i will have 3 good prizes to give away and my customers orders are normally quite big.

I am guessing many are waiting for the xmas gift sets and sale stuff. I just hope that the products are in stock! I am mailplan E so hopefully it wont be too bad?!

Have you got any promotions for xmas planned? I hope it picks up for you.

Hello,
I am new to avon, thought i would give it ago after walking what seamed like hrs to houses dropping Books of then collecting them again to only get 4 orders, But i thought no i will give it ago. My oder arrived this wk and half the stuff was missing in it,:mad: My managers away and i have decided to send the Whole lot back i really dont want to tell a couple of the people that ordered of me that there stuff as not come. I did not put the order through as it was my first one.
Could any Kind soul Tell me what to do to send the whole lot back this is not for me.

My first day putting brochures through my allocated houses and a Lady comes over to me to say they have already had a brochure through the door from another rep.

Knocked on a couple of doors to be on the safe side and was told the same

I've been allocated 100 houses in a street with 200 houses, I have 1-100 and the other rep is supposed to cover 101-200.

I'm gutted and feel pretty stupid as the other rep is collecting her brochures tomorrow and i've put in my introduction letter that i'll be collecting them Tuesday.

Feel really deflated now

How did you order Pip, if you didn't put your order through? You would normally credit every item onto your account and then have to arrange to leave the items with your upliner (ASM/SL) for them to be collected on your behalf.

Have you also tried knocking on the rep's side?

Contact whoever signed you up and tell them the rep is doing the whole street and you want more territory. Go back and get your books, don't feel stupid, it's not anything you did wrong, and put out to new territory.

Start promoting yourself, tell everyone you know you are doing avon. I have picked up a new customer through volunteering I do, I attended a free event, gave some books out, and a lady told me today, that her mum wants to order.

If you have a facebook page, put it on there, you are now selling Avon.

I havent put my order in yet (waiting for one more form to come in) but have my order saved and it doesnt show the stock indicator yet. Does that not show until you actually place the order?

Last brochure pick up today and I made my HOV on my first campaign :j. Got a txt back from my SL who said I would not be provided with C17 brochures as she gave me 40 for C16. If I were just selling to friends and family I would have got 20 for C16 and 20 for C17. When I sent her a message asking about getting catalogues for C17 I did say that I had read online that I was supposed to be provided with brochures for 2 campaigns so I don't think there is much else I can do. Can I just order catalogues for C17 this order and the C18 catalogues when I submit my order for C17? Or is this a bad idea?

Hi guys

Well after many doubts and wobbles I have not had too bad a couple of days! I'm currently up to £144 with 5 days to go on C16, my first campaign. Still have a few books out with people that I know are going to order and I may go and do a bit more canvassing. Got 3 orders from 10 houses on the opposite side of the road to me today-clearly not as tight as the ones on my side :-)

I've probably not made a great deal of money as I have my £7.50 to pay and I offered free gifts with any orders over £10....and guessing from a lot of posts here I'll end up buying my books for the second campaign. Guessing if I go for some 75p-£1.00 freebies I should be ok?

My manager, Did the order for me, to show me how to go on, but i cant log on as there was problems rang and they told me to try again after 24 hrs, but thought i would leave it until my manager comes back.

But As i say i have had enough, I also went around two roads to find that there was another rep already doing it :mad: It seems this happens a awful lot.

So i just want to return everything back to them, ideally before my manager comes back.
