I have to say going onto netmums and searching for christmas fayres etc has paid off and worked! I sent an email and got a reply back today- a week later, have to say I totally forgot that I had emailed the women with everything going on, so it was a suprise to hear back! Basically they dont have any other AVON people there and would be happy for me to go along! They have asked for my to pay a donation for the raffle they are doing and a fee for a table.
what kind things would people recommend having on the table? would testers be any good e.g. hand creams, body lotions purfumes? I was thinking hand creams as now its getting cold people's hands get chapped etc.
it now looks like I dont need to order something to bunk my order upto £78 and then send it back!0 -

Yay!Hope your stall goes well! I hope mine does too! lol
I havent done it before but this is how I've planned so far...
I've ordered christmas skin care bits, I think 5 of each, some of the christmas tree bubble baths and some of the £3 nail varnishes (also get free gift if you order 4 of these which is a bonus) I thought cheap stocking fillers would be a good place to start.
I got the party pack a while ago so will take my snowman mug and dish as demo as well as 2 heart warming cushions & 2 of the incense sets (these seemed popular last campaign and arent too expensive to buy on the spot)
I'm also taking my Herve Leger & Bond girl forever perfumes for people to try and will have a load of books and order forms out. I've also ordered small paper bags to put bits in for people to take away: business card, a few samples, a "about us" leaflet- detailing what I offer etc.
I have also had some free leaflets printed at vista print with a code for 10% discount on first 2 orders over £25. I'm hoping that will boost my sales over c 2 & 3, we'll see. Also got some free magnets from vista with my details on so will have some of those out.
Doing a box of cheapy things £1-£2 too
For me its mostly about promoting myself and gaining new customers which would be dead handy as I have no territory.
let me know if you fancy going over ideas together x0 -

Thankyou Chasingsunshine ive just literally sat down with the c18 and c17 and the ht brochures and have started to go through them for any ideas on what to get, i wanted to get somethings that were kinda christmasy as well with it coming upto christmas! have all these ideas running through my head! 'oh i could do this' etc!
I thought about getting things that were like £1, £2 like you as i thought children maybe there and want to get cheap presents for friends/family so ideal pocket money ideas!
I hope it goes well to as I have given up on my territory, ive lost count of how many times ive asked people to leave books out and they dont and they have thrown them away!
Hope yours goes well for youwhen's yours?
that sounds great to talk about ideas etc could help each other out etc?

OMG....I have just been out to pick up some of the last brochures for this campaign (I submit tomorrow) and my total is now upto £995  I am still expecting a handful more in tonight (friends ringing orders through etc) so I may make it over the 1K mark!!!
Anyway, I have been ordering loads of stuff for the Christmas stall I am doing next week. As a few ideas for those others doing them, I have ordered quite a few of the purse size sprays from C17 (2 for £4) which also gives a free watch for a spend over £12. Also, getting loads of clearance makeup and cheap lip balms and colour trend stuff (all on sale in C17) to put in a bargain bin. Going to have 1 under £1, one under £2 and one under £3. Also getting lots of one off items from the Christmas Gifts section to show Avon do more than just makeup. Getting some new items from HT as I figure if there are people who already buy Avon regularly, this may attract them. I have ordered a load of stuff from Vistaprint, including a cool t-shirt to match the design on my business card (but doesn't say Avon so I am not restricted to wearing it only when doing Avon. Anyway, any other ideas people have will be greatly appreciated.Everyone loves a bargain :beer:0 -
Afternoon all!
I've got a quick question about credits on my account. Basically, a few orders ago a customer ordered something, decided they didn't want it so I was just going to send it back. I claimed the credits on my account but after that my sister said she might want the item so I didn't send it back before I should therefore the credits were re charged to my account. Then my sister decided she didn't want the item (argh!) so I did eventually send it back 2 weeks ago (all still in its packaging and unopened) but I have not received the credits yet. Do I need to claim for them again? Or will they go back on automatically???
I said it was a quick question then I've just re- read what I've wrote- it's a mini essay! Oops!0 -
I've a new customer wanting the 3 of the stockings as well, hope they do make an appearance but not too hopeful, can you let me know when you get your delivery please???? My order's not due in for another week.
Wow to silvergrunge - delivery day will be fun in your house.
I've been out collecting brochures in the rain (again - why does it always rain on avon days?), not doing very good this campaign, a lot of my regulars haven't ordered, but on the plus side I have gained a few new customers from territory, they're only small orders though but at least I'm still getting new customers.0
