I'm 100% with you!!! I'd have that done in a heartbeat too if I could afford it!
I think only people with dentist phobia can possibly understand that though :(
well, as someone who has an implant as one of her teeth (the adult version never grew in properly) i can say that having an implant done is a process which takes a full year and a half, general anesthesia for the surgery, and more subsequent visits than i would ever care to count! i can't imagine how someone would get a whole mouthful. eek :(

just brush and floss, you'll be fine :) plax mouthwash at night does wonders to keep bacteria down and will help your teeth from getting cavities. :T
  • j.avon - unfortunatly my teeth are already really bad :( wish I could turn back time lol.

sorry, i'm sure this has been asked before, but i just can't find it anywhere.

i meant to return a few items (they had already been put in as credits online) today, my delivery day. But the driver came to the office when only my husband was there, so the returns did not get given to the driver.

can i just send them back next order, or will they already re-charge me for them? these were returns from c16.

they will recharge if not returned within 36 days but that's not a problem, just send them back with the next delivery and they will re-credit your account.

j.avon - I think it's hard to explain... But the surgery scares me less than the thought of seeing a dentist! The stupid thing is I know this is actually a totally baseless phobia *sigh*

  • Hi All, I hope you are all well.

I don't have long as I'm about to get the kids dinner ready and then go and pick up/deliver more brochures. I had an order this morning for £26, yeah!! Anyway my question is that it was from C18 for Herve Leger Eau de Toilette and Diamond Eau de Parfum. There is a free gift when spending £12 or more and £26 has been spent. Is it possible to get 2 free gifts? I have entered on the order for 2 and they both say free but as this is my first order I wanted to check.

Hope someone can answer this for me, many thanks x

If one item is for £12 and one for £14, then you should qualify for 2 free gifts.

My problem is gum disease. Think it's hereditary because my late mother lost all her teeth at age 41 and was a real stickler for oral hygiene.

What little teeth I've got left are decayed, crumbling or very loose. I want rid of them but I can't get a dentist to do as I want. Mine are so bad now that it's difficult eating, I've already had two fall out in the front which is very embarrassing with another two ready to go the same way.

Trouble is, dentures don't make so much money for dentists whether they are NHS dentists or private.

Ironically, I looked after my teeth very well, went to the dentist on a regular basis until I moved here and couldn't get a dentist, but it was all a waste of time. I blame the dentist I had back in the 1960s/70s (I am 54 years old) who, as was common in those days, drill holes in healthy teeth so they got paid.

My son and daughter have had one visit each to the dentist in their lives. They have good teeth, no decay and no fillings.

That, tells me a lot. Dentists are bad for your teeth LOL.

One item is £18 and the other is £8 but I have just realised that another customer has ordered something from these pages for £6 so I guess that is why it is showing as 2 free gift sets..

    Thanks for your help again

I'm with you! In Denmark the school dentists in the 80's were on the same plan... and you only used to get entonox for a filling - obviously that wore off long before the dentist finished and the result was lots of in my view unnessecary fillings in my baby teeth and a deep seated fear of dentists.

I think they changed "scheme" by the 90's but my fear was too deep rooted by then :(

woohooo just picked Little Miss up from the childminders and she's taken a book - and she wants to order at least one item which is £15!!! She has an Avon Man, but last brochure he left he said he'd pick up in a couple of days - 3 weeks later she gave up and chucked the book despite leaving it out for him easy to see in a plastic bag... Then he dropped her another book through a few days later and she just thought she wasn't going to bother again as what was the point... but if I'm doing it then she knows she'll see me twice a day during the week LOL So first customer on-board! Now... to hassle the neighbours! :)
