  • Lozza You might need to be a bit firm with your Docs maybe - sort of "my work are really funny about things like this - I would really appreciate if you would sign me off for a week as this will reduce the further stress involved with telling work I need time off". Fingers crossed for you, and as has been said you will come out the other side of this, just don't rush it, and be kind to yourself.

Ellibee - thanks! Yes, got an order already from one of yours, hopefully the other 2 who had C16 books yesterday might come through as well! :D Collecting books on the way to you tomorrow so will know by the time I see you!

Thanks - it was my Avon birthday!

Delivery came today, 6 boxes to sort out later. I am having a grumpy day today as I think I am getting a cold. I though that yesterday as well, so now I just wish it would get a move on!!

    Happy Avon Birthday!

As to the cold, tell it to go away, as you don't have time to deal with colds thank you very much. Then employ positive thinking, echinacea, and high strength vitamin C! :D I had a rotten sore throat yesterday but am feeling much better today......really I am, honest!

I know, I have tried the hard talking option but this one seems quite resilliant! Think that vitamin C is one vitamin which you can't overdose on, so am going to be headed to Boots at lunchtime!!

Lozza - EssexHebridian is right about the docs, you might need to lay it on a bit and ask to be signed off. I've never been signed off - I think even if I walked (hopped?) in with a limb hanging off, the doc would still say to me to take paracetamol and see now I was in 24 hours! OH says I am far too chatty for an ill person when I go in.

Well oh spoke to my boss explained what the doc had said. Said I couldn't cope with going in the other lab at the moment, they're just leaving me to it, and that's not good for me. He said my boss was like, well we have to go where the work is (funny how I'm about the only one that does) so oh had to spell it out that if I have to go in there at the moment I'll probably end up on long term sick leave which wouldn't be good for me or for them, and that I travel 40 miles each way to go work so having stress, doing that traveling as well when I feel so bad is a bad combo. Boss said he'll see me Monday and he'll have a word with those training me - he said the two people training me, there's only one! - so well see. As oh said if he tries to make me go in there and I don't feel ready, come home and go the docs and get signed off - they'll be stuck as there's no one to cover for me when I'm on late shift and they'd have no first aider on shift either.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, it's nice to know people care and understand I was thinking I was going a bit mad!

Blimey, I only travel 10 miles and those 10 miles of slow traffic is enough for me!!! That kind of journey when you are ill is not wise.

And your boss will see you on Monday? Well see how you are after a weekend of relaxing and doing diddly-squat.
(yes missy, that includes not doing any Avon).

(Blimey, why can't I be that firm with myself, instead of dragging myself in when I'm ill?!!)

PS You are not going mad!

Has anyone used the fast track thingy phone line to add to an order? I added to an order just after I placed it as somehow missed one customers order! It all seemed to go thru and seeing as it was added to my latest order and not an additional order I expected it to come with my main delivery...but it hasnt.

In future I'll try my luck with reading the numbers out to customer services next time (my yorkshire accent doesnt go well with call centres abroad lol!!) as I'm sure it could have come with my order.

I guess I'll have to ring tomorrow anyway to try and work out how long the stuff will take to arrive!

Hey, i also used fast trak for the first time on tuesday following advise from here, when i realised i had also missed off one customer's order. It was due in by 10pm on monday and i added the products onto my existing order tues morn. Well my delivery is due tomorrow so i am really hoping that it is added to my delivery and doesnt come separately. On my account it just says that the order has been recieved and not dispatched which is a small concern..... let me know how long it takes for your items to arrive. :(

  • Morning All :D
My c17 order is due in today and Im pleased to say I've got £283 worth of orders! Cant believe it! Was aiming for £78 :D

I've just been sorting through my brochures etc and have realised I have FAR too many... I ordered 30 for each campaign as I was expecting to get some territory and was going to hit it hard (:rotfl:) but now SPD has really taken control and I cant walk more than 100 yards so I wont be needing more than about 16 books for each campaign :( Not sure what to do with all the extra c.18 & c. 1 books I've got...

Also not sure how I'm going to manage the next few campaigns as an immobile rep. Feeling a bit fed up but trying not to get down about it all. No chance of doing any territory until about February now.
The Christmas stall is out, no way I can stand for 3 hours, FB has only bought in one customer. I have about 4 customers that arent family :( *sigh*
Not giving up on this one yet so any ideas would be soooo appreciated xxx

Just had a thought - imagine all the f&f who will be coming to visit you and the new baby - well while they are there lock the door until they have given you an avon order. :D
Seriously though, i would speak to your SL/ASM whichever signed you up, perhaps they can make use of the spare books you have (keep some for f&f) and explain to them that you are not going to be able to do territory for a bit. I am sure they will more than understand. :)

Thats a good point! maybe I should say people can visit baby and have a cuddle as long as they order at least one item haha :rotfl:
