Also, those with FB pages, does anyone know if you can post documents on there? Like my newsletter
Its in Word but would like to be able to put it on if I could

You can't post documents on there, ie here is a word attachment, click on it, but you could copy and paste your newsletter onto the Discussion Board. Does this help?0

Chardonnay, try uninstalling and reinstalling Open Office, you may find when you go to uninstall it, it gives you an option about repairing as well as uninstalling. If it does, click on repair.
If after repairing or uninstalling and reinstalling, it still doesn't work, then post on the Techie board on MSE, the guys there should be able to help you. Hmm, just wondering if you could email me the files and I could have a look...
As for the 4 books, if you aren't bothered about getting them back, leave them for the other Reps.
I wish SL's and ASMs wouldn't tell people to go where they like! It is such a waste of time for people.
I really like MarsdenCuckoo's legitimate way of finding out if people get an Avon rep. She posted in the last thread or the thread before, I will look for it and link to here.
Just to say, thank you so much for your advice, re Open Office! It wouldn't repair, but I uninstalled and then installed it again, and it's all working fine! Such a relief, it really would have been hard to remember which houses said they didn't want a book, and that was what I was most worried about!
Thanks again, Aureol, you're a star0 -
It must have got corrupted, so pleased though you were able to retrieve your files.0

Well ... I've just been out and posted my books to the last lot of my territory, not looking good this time round. My first campaign did really well, but this one looks like I'll be struggling to get MOV, one woman was out in her garden asked my if I was betterware (we're swamped down by betterware round my area) when I said Avon she said she didn't have time!! Don't know what she thought I wanted from her!!
Not even got any F&F orders this time round as everyone placed orders 1st time.0 -

By doing this at least you are making everyone in your territory aware you are reliable and after a couple of brochures appearing through the doors and being collected when they are supposed to they are more likely to consider ordering in the future.
Don't give up too easily as it does get easier, and I find once a person has ordered once, met you and built up a little of a relationship they are sooo much more likely to order again!
I am collecting brochures today for what will probably be the last time before my order is due, fingers crossed I will get a couple of new customers as I seem to be falling behind this campaign!
Good luck collecting yours0 -

Order arrived yesterday even though it's due tomorrow... Spent a few seconds completely baffled while the driver pretended it was Monday. He said that if I hadn't been in they would have left it at a neighbours or taken it back to the depot. They wouldn't have re-delivered on Monday.
In my case, this has worked out well because I didn't have a manic afternoon sorting everything out for an evening delivery, but for lots of people getting the delivery when they're not expecting it (i.e. when they're not in) would turn into a right palaver. You're told X is your delivery date so that's the day you put aside. He said they delivered it early because it got to the depot early.
I've also been told to re-order Doggie Door Stop and the snuggle boots. Good job they're still at £10 and £8 respectively, and hadn't gone up in price, otherwise I presume Avon would expect me to either ask the customer to pay more for them, or cover the cost myself? I thought that when things were out of stock and arrived a few campaigns later, you were only charged the price they were in the campaign you ordered them in. This is what happened to a C14 sale item that turned up, but I didn't have to re-order that one.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

not sure why your order turned up early or why you are being asked to re-order items. Avon don't usually do that, as far as I know, they just keep saying will be delivered in x campaign. Strange. Email customer service and ask them.0
