One of my best customers has ordered 2 items which are on a page where you get a free gift with each item you order on that page (powder foundation in this case) however she hasnt put the free gift on her order form.
What would you do in this case?

Congratulations J_Pink! What lovely news for us to start the week with!

I've passed MOV now so am pleased with that. My lovely sister in Law was delighted to see my book when we went over to see them yesterday and promptly placed a £23 order! Next lot of books will get picked up tomorrow - I have one lady who has already said she wants to order so fingers crossed she'll come good on that. I also have a couple of Mum's old customers that want a book from me as well which is handy.

If it was a good customer, I'd add the gift, but draw her attention to it when I delivered the order.

I would order the free gifts for her- this would be a suprise for when she recieves her order or you could go back to her and say she's missed the free gift etc x

This happened to me too this morning, a new customer came round with an order as she was going on holiday and didnt want to leave the book out, she too is entitled to the powder foundation as a free gift, which she hasnt mentioned at all on her order form.

I am going to give her the free gift but there are about 6 shades to chose from, dont know whether to chose one for her (she looked a similar skin tone to myself) or to hope she is back of her hols before order goes in so I can find out which shade she wants.

Thanks ladies, the trouble I've got is she is someone who works with a relative of mine who isnt working with her again before my order is due, so I cant contact her. Im not sure what shade she'd want
Was thinking of getting something fairly neutral as Im told she is 60 and fair skinned but it'd be a shame to get it wrong. Suppose I could go with nude or something and if its wrong for her I could send it back for a replacement?

I personally would order the free gifts, tell the customer when you deliver, they were entitled, see if they want them, if they do, and it is the wrong shade, I would go for a neutral colour, then send back for a replacement. Your customer will be pleased you picked up on something they missed, showing how honest you are, and they will order again and again. OR like one of my customers say - I don't want the free gift, and I get to keep it!

You could order the free gift in the lightest shade, then order 2 more of the same in the next 2 shades up. then she has 3 to choose from. have her test them and send the other 2 back.

if you are sending back the 'free' shade, just pick the reason code as wrong colour. avon sends the wrong shades out so often they will never know that you purposely sent a different shade back. :P
