One of my customers has ordered the "Natural Beige" and "Medium Beige" as I don't think they were sure of the shade either. Natural Beige is OOS, Medium Beige is coming with my order.0

I bought it as I was doing a stall and a car boot, and there was some good stuff and some current products in there, but also some rubbish that I still to this day haven't managed to get rid of, several car boot sales later. (things like toiletry bags). Don't think I managed to break even even on it, and the thing is you can't send bits back, it has to be the whole lot.
Hope that helps! x
That does help, thank youI thought that'd be the case but wanted to check.
Whats the best way to get stock for stall etc at a good price? x0 -
I finally delivered some books to my territory. I did this on Sunday morning and I thought I'd start small so just delivered to one road that had 11 houses on.
Well they were actually bungalows and one was empty. One woman was decorating her house for Halloween - I don't know who was more scared as she opened the door before I could "stuff and run".
I had an email from one of the houses to say that she already an Avon rep so I have crossed her off my list.
Can someone just confirm the figures in the signatures - are they the final amount paid to Avon or the amount before discount?
Thanks.
Hazel
xKeep smiling - it makes people wonder what you've been up to........:)0 -

hi all
this might be a silly question but how do you deal with orders via facebook, do you post a brochure to them, because im thinking if they go to the Avon site would they just not order from there??0 -
Hey guys, how is/was everyone's c17? Just put my order in yesterday and it wasn't too bad in the end but only due to one of my friends getting her Mum and Nan to order (quite big orders). My territory were good with orders but they were all really small even though i have an order over x amount offer on. A few customers bought gift sets but not many. I am thinking people are not geared up for Xmas yet, so hopefully c18 will be more fruitful.
While i remember - it says on my invoice that the gold spa bag is oos. Am i right in thinking that they are sending out a replacement bag instead? i remember something being mentioned earlier in the thread. also, some of the gift sets are already oos. what a pain in the butt.
I have my first avon party on Nov 18th. It is at my house and i have only invited some friends from work and my neighbour to get me started. Once i feel a bit more confident i will look at hosting parties at other peoples houses.
The theme of the party is 'Foot Spa' and i have loads of footworks products from clearance to sample and give away. I have also got the xmas party pack from HT to sample and i have made up some gift sets for men, including a range of fragrances to try and open the male market. i have some good party game ideas and we will be having a chocolate fondue. mmmmm very 80's. lol.
i am getting a bit nervous now but at least they are all people i know well. wish me luck!!DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Well OH emailed me this morning to say that one of the girls at his work has put in an order for £15! I reckon that takes me to £133 so getting tantalisingly close to HOV now and I've still got a week to go! :j considering I have been told that my territory have been mucked about before with people never returning for the books, or worse, taking orders and never bothering to go back to deliver them, I'll be really pleased if I make HOV on my first campaign. I reckon with any luck it can only get better from there as people start to realise that I can be relied on. Got a couple more of Mum's old customers who have become friends of hers who want me to let them have books too so fingers crossed....!
I'll be out collecting books tonight, and as OH is apparently going to be late home tomorrow that means I will be using my own car so home earlier than I have been from work so I will go and do the next lot of book drops then I think. was originally going to do them tonight but there's not a lot of point in having to go out twice this evening if I can get them ready to do on my way home tomorrow instead.
Mum took me through putting my orders on last night too so I will get the rest of those input this evening so I'm a bit ahead of the game. I'm really starting to enjoy this! :T🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Evening ladies....
Cutiepieabf, I've just put my C17 order in and got a fairly good response from F&F, territory was on C16 and although I did the spend over £20 and get a free gift only 1 person took me up on the offer! Like you say maybe people haven't got into the 'Christmas spirit' yet. I'll let you know what response I get from my territory on C17 over the next week or so.
Hope this helps0 -
Had a really busy Avon day today. Took the plunge and signed up as a Trainee SL and went out prospecting with my ASM. Wasn't really sure what to expect but it was quite easy - we did the whole car park in MR A's and other areas in my ASM's territory. Managed to get 5 leads but went to go sign one up this evening only to find that the lady in question had given us a false name, address and a telephone number which didn't even belong to her!!! Was pretty impressed I have to say - don't think I would have been able to make all that up in the length of time we were chatting! How do you other SL's go about getting new reps? I am under a real redundancy threat - as is my OH - and want to make Avon work as a business. Got another 2 sign ups to do tommorrow and then one Friday and one Monday so hopeful that they will at least live at the addresses they gave me! Just as well I am a naturally upbeat person as this could have put me off before I started!0
