Chardonnay, try uninstalling and reinstalling Open Office, you may find when you go to uninstall it, it gives you an option about repairing as well as uninstalling. If it does, click on repair.
If after repairing or uninstalling and reinstalling, it still doesn't work, then post on the Techie board on MSE, the guys there should be able to help you. Hmm, just wondering if you could email me the files and I could have a look...
As for the 4 books, if you aren't bothered about getting them back, leave them for the other Reps.
I wish SL's and ASMs wouldn't tell people to go where they like! It is such a waste of time for people.
I really like MarsdenCuckoo's legitimate way of finding out if people get an Avon rep. She posted in the last thread or the thread before, I will look for it and link to here.0 -
Thanks Aureol
I did think of seeing what would happen if I tried to uninstall it, so I'll try that. I am not great with the technical side of computers!
To be fair, my SL has been pretty good up to now. She's easy to contact and always gets back to me. I think the problem was that for some reason, no one could access my territory on the system! (Typical!) So I think what she was saying is, give that road a try, and see what happens. Though I realise, that might not be such a good idea now! She's always told me to put a note on the front of the book, when delivering to new areas, introducing myself and asking people to let me know if they already have a rep, so I won't call again.
At least now that they can finally access my territory, I know that the other roads are legitimately mine, as it was a bit embarrassing!
I'll leave the books for the other rep to collect.0 -

Thanx aureol trying to build business up at the moment. My partners a plasterer so work isnt around at christmas for him. so need to build up my income!
yep! Know what you mean! My DH is a Specialist Decorator and he is usually off for Christmas and most of Jan, work doesn't usually pick up until Feb.
Well done though! You are an inspiration!
I have just seen my party invites have been shipped! :j I was worried they were going to be here the week before I had it! This gives me a chance to get them out.
I wish I had a car, as I seem to have a lot to take to the hall and bring it back.
I was googling Avon pictures as I need a new one for Twitter, and some of the logos people have designed are so professional! Hmm, might have to twist a certain Graphic Designer's arm and ask him to do me something... meanwhile having a play on vistaprint.0 -
Arrggg this stupid lotus shield money maker is going to haunt me for months still! I applied for a credit for 3 in august but the credit value was showing as 90p rather than £9! I emailed asking what I will actually be credited, they then decided to credite the whole £30! So this goes on and on, I'm then recharged both £30 and £9 because they apparently didn't receive them! they then confirmed these have been received and credited me £3!? I again email to ask specifically for another £6 credit, then get another email saying I have been credited with £6!?! Where do they get these daft amounts from!? So again another email, then a phone call where again they misunderstood and credited me with £34!? Again say I need £9! So he recharges me
£25, which is fair enough but then refused to take off the other £3 and £12 credit saying I have to wait until my next invoice and then ring again to get the credits taking off!!! All this = me being very peed off!! So cue a very long angry email to Avon and yet another crappy response saying the credits have been applied!!! So fed up with Avon right now!! Sorry for the rant and lack of paragraphs!!0 -
((((((((((((((((carlys87)))))))))))))))))))))) it is a shame it is taking so long! You need to find that decent customer service person who knows exactly what you are talking about, understands and does it correctly.
Can you ask your ASM to step in?0 -
Thank you! Well I'm giving them one more chance ( don't really know what I'll do after that?! Lol) I've just replied to their email asking exactly what credits etc are on my account at the moment, might see what my asm says if I get no luck from that0

Yes, you need someone to speak to them directly and get is sorted for once and all. But you need that Savvy person in Customer Service who understands and can work it all out.0 -
Hey lovely ladies
I have hit MOV (yippee :j) with the first orders I've had put in so thats great news. I have 4 days left of this campaign and only 2 orders in which isnt that great I know but as you all know I've felt so ill this campaign I was only aiming for MOV and I've got that so its all good. I have been told by several customers they are ordering so just waiting for them to come in, just an added bonus for me
I put quite a few samples in when I delivered my c 16 orders (Only having a handful of customers means I can afford to do that!) and just had a call from a customers who was very pleased with her samples and has asked me to get some foundation samples. She is fair skinned, in her 70s and like her foundation to have a "pinky tint, not orange" Any experts on this out there? I havent seen any of the foundations yet so really dont know what ones to get0
