Iput on an hour of heating this morning. I have a cold but I also need to get some office work done (from home). I cannot concentrate if I'm shivering so drinking lots of hot tea and getting a hot water bottle to snuggle with when the warmth wears off...:)

p.s. I live in a semi and the house next to ours is empty so no additional heat coming from that half of the property.

Ours was off till this morning when my partner complained about the cold. The thermostat said 13C so I put it on. It's going off this evening though.

What does help is we're off to Spain to visit family tomorrow. A weeks free warmth!

I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...

I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!

Heating still off but not sure it's going to stay that way much longer. It's definitely much colder this morning.

  • Got soaked through this morning on the school run but heating is still off, instead i forced the kittens to come sleep on my knee, they actually give off quite a bit of body heat and the odd tickle under the chin is way cheaper than gas!

Mine is off, but I've got to say it wall rather chilly today in my flat.

I have the day off so I finally got the oil filled radiator to help me get through the winter.

Did have mine on this arvo for an hour as it is pretty miserable and cold feeling outside today...............
  • Still off, but feeling the cold now of an evening in the house, so suspect it won't be off much longer!
  • Our heaters are still off although I was tempted to put it on this morning as I was freezing. I made myself a cup of tea and snuggled under a blanket instead.:)

Came home to 14C inside. Fortunately, I'm going to be doing some weightlifting so I may open the front door to vent the heat. :D

Edit: crikey it's warm in here.
