I'm in Notts - its apparently 9 degrees outside at the moment.
I know its definitely got cooler in my house (prior to flicking that switch and having the heating on) - as my feet were cold even in slippers, and I was really feeling the difference in temps when the doors from the lounge into the kitchen and hall were open.
Luckily, this house doesn't really need a lot of heat to keep it up to a reasonable temp - I've had a fairly big refund of my gas payments recently, and my gas monthly DD has gone down, at my gas company's suggestion.0 -
I'm about 50 miles South of Torry Quine. Mine has been on this evening.0

Very cold in Bedfordshire now but still holding out. Hwb, fleecy jimmies, blanket, long thermal sox and the dog to keep me warm. If it's like this tomorrow I might give in but trying not to, especially after today's news.0
