Is your heating ON or OFF?

Turned a bit nippy here (middle of the south coast roughly), but heating still OFF for now.
Aired out all our winter PJ's, checked over the hot water bottles to make sure they haven't developed any weaknesses/leaks and bunged the fluffy bed socks in a bowl of fabric softener.
Medicine cupboard stocked for plague outbreak of biblical proportions.
Enough canned goods to break an elephants back.
Swimming pools worth of stored water.
Camping gear ready for the black outs....
.....oh no!......BOG ROLL!.....
We're all doomed! doooooooooomed!0 -
Still off, need to find or buy new hot water bottles...may have to have an enforced stay in hospital soon so I'll save putting it on whilst there too..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

Still off ,but cardi's are on again and a knitted blanket over my knees whilst watching t.v. Starting to get a bit chillier in the evenings so winter is on its way I think.I am trying to keep the heating off as long as I can.0

Wow!! Woke up this morning to chilly temperatures! Overnight it seems to have dropped by several degrees and the kids are moaning about being cold.
We are doing our winter clothes shopping tomorrow (PJs, fleeces, thick socks, slippers) so still hope to keep the heating off.0 -
Oh dear its time to sign up for another duel fuel plan from the energy company. I use so little already so I won't be using any more.
The only good thing I can secure prices until 2017. But it will cost me(possibly another £84 annually)but if it save me paying annual price rises between now and then perhaps its the best I can do.
No penalty clauses for leaving or switching tariffs and £100 back over the year so maybe its better than going just for a plan lasting a year.
They've got us whatever we do and decision has to be made quick as they'll all follow Scottish Power...
This may help others decide...

14C indoors - I put it on only if I'm going to be having a shower as it's horrible stepping out of a bath/shower into a cold room. Get yourself thermal underwear. It's not expensive. Sod the energy companies.0

Oh I put my heating on before almost two weeks ago, definitely can't stand the cold. Not to mention that I'm constantly ill because of the fast changing temperature0
-
My thermostat is set to 20c but my new build flat must be incredibly well insulated (triple glazed etc) as it hasn't actually switched itself on yet.0
-
Still off!! But as I have no tumble dryer, it may need to go on sooner as we need our clothes to dry!0

Currently 47f outside, and 65f in my living room, so heating staying off.0
