Any thin blooded oldies out there got their heating on?
I really do feel the cold and am already shivering in this early start to autumn. I cannot walk around wrapped up in duvet although I feel like doing just that. You live..You learn.:)0 -
Not on here yet, hoping to hold out for another month. It is definitely starting to feel nippy here though. I'm sat at the computer with a blanket over my shoulders.0

No I'm still in T-shirts with doors and windows open, although I've put away the shorts. It was 20.2 degrees in our livingroom at 8pm last night so definitely not heating on yet; that's a summer day to me."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

absolutely not, not just yet anyway. wearing shorts and vests last week so am holding out for a bit more Indian summer, if I put it all away I will probably have to get it all out again. heating won't go on here till mid October at least, we'll just wear more layers. Where do you live Tiglath, it def wasn't anywhere near that warm here yesterday and today it's freezing but hey!!0

We did last night and the night before....although the day time temperature was very pleasant....tshirts, the evening temperature was distinctly cool. I was still quite cold after I'd put a cardigan on. We put it on from about 9pm until 11pm...it was either that or light the fire.....
I'd hoped there would be no heating until October.....especially as we use oil.
I think I'm feeling the chill in the evenings more than usual because of the lovely weather we've been having (not today though...overcast and quite cold wind).0 -
No, not yet. But the furry slippers and snuggly PJ's have made a return. Me and hubby were talking about this lat night, Hubby wants to try and wait til October so i've challenged him to get to the end of October.March 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000

London, but I may be armed with hormonesDH wanted the heating on last night and I said No, so he put on a jumper instead. Stepdaughter is claiming this morning that she's a bit cold but I have selective hearing as well. Sooner or later they'll outnumber me but I'll hold out for as long as I can! I refuse to overheat in my own home - they can put on more layers but when I'm down to bare skin there isn't much else I can take off.

Hi All,
I love this thread and look for it every year. I haven't had the heating on yet, its still very warm in my living room (bedrooms a bit cooler because4 it doesn't get much sun).
I don't have a target date as such for not putting it on, just holding out as long as possible.Well Behaved women seldom make history
