Oh keeps telling me it's getting colder at the weekend he certainly knows how to cheer me up:).If the worst happens I will be able to afford to put heating on for a bit,I have saved so much with this mild weather it won't be a worry like last winter.

Temps seem to be dropping here now. Colder than its been for a while tonight.

I have a logistical problem now wi the dogs. Big dog is having a phantom pregnancy and has her phantom puppies under the heat lamp. Which leaves dog-dog unwelcome in the room and cold now she is ousted from the lamp. I don't really want to take her up with me, but seems e best solution for her comfort. She loves being upstairs.

    Oh bless her x

  • Our boiler packed up on Monday, won't be fixed until Thursday so no hot water nor heating until then

We have a fan heater, light a gas ring in the kitchen, leccy blankie on the bed and boiling the kettle to wash... oh and the membership to the leisure centre is paying dividends in that we can get a hot shower there too! ;)

Soooo glad I've got my sheepskin slippers and umpteen fleecey tops! :D

Take care catch me, think its worse if you have had it on. I have lit the woodburner tonight.
  • I must admit it has made us properly discuss us getting a woodburner... we have said "we should" and actually chose the one we want but sheer laziness has stopped us.

I keep telling myself it's like we had when I was growing up. No central heating, and run from the warm room to the loo, bed etc. Think I may spend the weekend in bed if it gets colder! ;)

Last week was such a lovely week with no heating and saving all that money. Frosty right now, so I think it's time for the heating to go back on. Still doesn't feel too cold though!
